If Glen Gault Jr. is a go he would have to be the one to beat with Vanderwyst a close and to finish off the top 3 Robblee (Steve ) Long shot Kirk Hooker.

but has Gault even ran at Delaware before?
if so, it certainly wasnt recently
They had the blindfold races at Peterborough quite a few years back and #15 OSCAAR driver Al Shepstone almost took out a tow truck on the infield before he drove through the signs on the front staight infield. It was classic.
Just went to the Delaware site. WOW! $10,000 to win and 38 cars running in the show. Should be good!
Decisions decisions. I like Robblee, but he hasn't been overly dominant the past few weeks. He's entirely capable, but I just don't think its his time.
Sheridan...he's the obvious choice as far as I'm concerned...which is why I shy away from picking him too. The obvious choice rarely wins at the 300. (not since the Jr Hanley days anyway)
My gut says Kennedy...not because I'm a fan but because I think he's strong enough. He won it last year, so we know he can get it done. If I was a betting man I'd pick him.
But I have a feeling this years race is going to someone that's been a darkhorse. I dunnno about Hooker...but Delisle'd be a good pick, as would Mr Sawchuk. One wouldn't be out of line picking Verhoeven either.
Of course, maybe the boys will have Kramer up and running with its top secret four barrel cheeze-sucking carbs on 10 inch slicks..and dust everyones crops!
