well fromthestands, exactly what would be the point in calling, would it really matter? are you gonna change the amount of practice we get this saturday, or would it be a nice long talk on 20 different reasons why there is only 10 minutes!
We do not need to pick up the phone and call, the track should automatically give us the track time we need. This is just my opinion but 10 min for 60-70 cars just does not seem right to me, i have great respect for the organisers of our event dont get me wrong
I believe they do a great job for the most part, but i do feel strongly about this 10 min deal and believe it should be changed regardless of scheduel!
p.s. sorry for my piss poor spelling..lol
Sorry bud, didn't mean to pee you off but really, if you call Jeff, you might be suprised. You may be able to help the whole division out.
Btw - You did ask the question, I didn't realize it was rhetorical.
lol i was not pee'd off sorry if it came out that way..and yes the question was meant to be somewhat rhetorical....maybe a phone call would help, maybe it wouldnt! worth a try maybe, thanx for the info..
::) I don't see the problem with short practice, and I have a bucket of bolts to throw on the track (untested car). We NEED practice time, but I would rather keep racing 15 minutes from home. If the Oaks wanted to, that track would be leveled. Don't start whining because we get shorted on seat time. If your car isn't set up right, use a few races to get it right. That's what we are doing, and it has worked well in the past.
We had races we were changing springs, while the rest of the boys were ripping up the track. If you are testing anything serious mid season (like we are), just work at it and be ready for next points season. Delaware's track surface doesn't change that dramatically, so just go with what works.
well Dougy109 i dont really care about another race track or how level they are, not really even sure why u mentioned this..if u read the whole post i stated that we have 600 dollars worth of new tires that need to be broke in and we were counting on our warm up time to do this. so as far as you saying i am whining, if that is your opinion then so be it, but our car is not a bucket of bolts nor is it an untested car, myself and my sponsers have alot of money into this car and would appreciate being able to go out with a warmed up car and tires so we can steer around all of the buckets of bolts sitting on the track and the ones that will eventually wreck someone or just die in the pits!!!
cya saturday!
