Ok guys I might be a bit crazy . . .  What do you think about this?

Lets have it all divisions being able to run.  Have a class for Late Model, Modified, SS, Truck, Enduro, and Chaos all out there at the same time.  Make it like a true Endurance race run it 10 hours 1pm to 11pm which I believe is the earliest and latest events can go at Delaware.  I would be a pretty interesting race that way I think and I wouldn't bet on a Late Model taking the overall win.

Dude are you ok? The Late models are not built for endurance races for one thing. Who's gunna pay for all those tires? and fuel? Way out there man ;D

I still go back to the idea I posted way back on this subject. The track has enough on it's plate with what it already has, your event if it ran for example as a breakfast type show 8AM start  into a regular afternoon card with a noonie burger brake  for the afternoon. Food sales would be big for the day and may bring down costs rather than a separate event for a trial.
The cheap car idea is best my opinion with a strong safety code. KISS
