Well it is that time of the year 2007 racing & banquets are done. Now you have off time for drivers and their cars but not track  management .Here are some possible predictions for up and coming season of 2008 as seen through my crystal ball.
1) O.S.S. (Ontario Sportsman Series ) comes to Delaware and runs not a twin 50 but a triple 50
2)OSCARR comes back to Delaware and runs Shadowracer you will like this the Don Biederman Memorial
3)ARCA Trucks come back and I see a Delaware Friday race & Sauble Speedway Saturday
4)Auto Value Sprints with a modified feature
5)ISMA ( Supermodifieds) good possibilty again but the American
Dollar may change this event
6) As for NCTS series race my crystal ball is saying no.As this series maybe to expensive for this track at this time and the track conditions maybe to expensive to fix at this time
As for race series my crystal ball says watch out for the O.S.S. Series as I can see will have a big year with a bigger schelude, bigger car count and with a possible purse of $2000.00
to win for a 50 lap race if true will draw cars to this series.
On the bad side of this some of these drivers from local tracks may decide to run just this series and travel to the states (U.S.A.) and run there as the Canadian dollar will dictate  whether to go there or not.
As I was saying this is what my crystal ball is saying. Will it be right only time will tell or is my crystal ball dirty and none of it is right.

Last night at the banquet in the address they talked about seriously looking at an OSCARR race.

They also touchd on NCATS - - said that it was way to expense in upfront costs as far as sanctioning to be even remotely possible and that a totally new offer would need to be brought to the table before it could happen.

What are peoples thoughts on OSS.  Where would fit in the sched?

Also while floating around last night I heard some rumors circulating about some crazy fun stuff they're thinking of trying with 4 cyls to have some fun at the end of race nights...  Could be all talk though...  If they do what I heard some people talking about it should be a hell of a lot of fun.

If it was an O.S.S. race and it was a twin 50 or triple 50 watch for May 24 th weekend as the labour Day race is the APC 300 so that leaves the 24th of May weekend for this race

I don't imagine too much in the way of different for next year. Maybe some tweaks. Hope to see the Hobbies back.

I've also heard that OSCAAR is being looked at. Beiderman memorial would be nice, but I'd doubt it as it's Oscaars premier race. If I was Oscaar, I don't think I'd give my premeir race to a track with a long established history of SLM racing, yet is "just sorta getting around to" supporting the series now. I'd give it to a track that has stuck with me. Anyway, see how an event goes first and take it from there. Maybe the Beiderman the year after. (Thats just my take...I could be wrong. Have been before.)

As far as NCTS goes...yeah I kind of doubt it. Labor Day's event at Cayuga was successful enough that I think the Labor day race would be staying there anyway...unless something really weird happens with Cayuga. (Which is still entirely possible) And yeah, supposedly Delaware's not up to NASCAR snuff anyway, so that might delay things too. (Though I don't see what Barrie has that we don't.)

As far as other series goes, unless they have something to offer that our own LMs don't already provide, I wouldn't bet on it. Saw the ASA show at Cay...nothing new there. The OSS would be okay, just for the chance to see some of the "old boys" race at home again, like Mark Patrick and Bob Merrifield. (And maybe we'd have the chance to Robblee in victory lane again.)

But again, I'm doubting any wholesale changes. Which is fine. This season was a pretty good one.
