A LLM has no chance in hell to even make the top 20, unless by attrition. Last year we were given a 75 or 100lb weight break because we had the ACT small crate . I would bet we had one of, if not the best handling car there, thanks to Mike McColl. We finished 10th behind 9 Delaware regulars with the big crate. We had no chance. Openning night this year they gave us a 150lb break. We again had at least a top three handling car but just got out-motored and finished mid-pack. Seventh or eighth I think. At last years 300 we ran behind Terry Jones in the first 75 and we could drive circles around him in the corners but he would pull us between 1 and 1 1/2 car lengths every straight. We did eventually get by but only because he got extremely loose and couldn't use his power. I heard that the LLM cars are getting a 300lb break but I would be surprised if any even qualify for the main event if 50 cars show up.
My spotting offer is still out there.
couple questions... I have beacuse I'v havn't attended the 300 before....
How early should I show up? to get a good seat?
&
How long does it usaly last? long drive for me...so just wondering when about I'l get home.
The post Mobil is talking about is the 4 TBD that is the car Cole Pearn will drive at least it is pretty much a lock.
It will be good seeing him out there again.
Wouldn't Urlin be far better off in his 4 car than the 9 car as the 9 car has the small crate and the 4 car has the big crate or a built motor in it?And also ACT is racing on Sunday at Thunder Road is he not going?I will say it makes more sense to stay at home and race for 10000 to win race than all the traval cost to run in the states.
Wouldn't Forth be racing in this race even though he races at Flammy now?
