The whole system is kinda funny if you think about it. In professional sports, when you move up a level and don't make it you are done. It like if you don't make it in the NFL, you don't move back down to high school ball. What we have here, is a 50 year old fool, with 30 years of experince, out on the highschool ball field...

So does that mean that when those NASCAR guys ran with CASCAR a few years back, they were playing soccer with a bunch of Grade 8s? When D.J. and Jason Hathaway ran at Grand Bend with the mini-trucks, was it like playing kickball with preschoolers?

If hockey players can go from the NHL to the European league, why can't guys go from Cup or Nationwide to Trucks? I know I'm going to incur someone's wrath here, but to win three truck championships, Hornaday clearly has some talent behind the wheel. You don't have that much success in a series that is that competitive just by dumb luck and decent equipment.

Hornaday took responsibility for the wreck. He told his crew that he had dialed in too much rear break into his truck. This was reported on the telecast. Kyle had nothing to do with it. (BTW, I'm not a Busch fan. Kyle or Kurt). Too bad about JR. I was hoping he'd have a good showing. On a side note, I was going through some old and odd racing stuff the other day and found some CASCAR hero cards with JR and his dad in the purple Chips Ahoy cars. If JR makes it big in NASCAR, maybe I can get rich off these cards .lol

Talk about not knowing a driver , I have met Ron Hornaday on 5 different occasions , could not ask for a nicer guy and if you knew the TRUE history on him you would know theres more good than bad in it.

His CUP days were with AJ FOYT ( after getting shoved aside in favor of Mikey Waltrip for the #15 NAPA CHEVY at DEI ) and was not a top calibre team to start with. as for tearing up equipment , he has been the recipient more than the cause over the years.

I have an opinion. I have been to many races and by your comments you mean everyone that watches races on TV don't have an opinion or know nothing about racing?

Here my opinion without having watched the race (was busy). Hornaday is one of those losers that tears up so much equipment no one wants to give him a ride. Remeber his cup days anyone? So Harvick feels bad for the guy, because he let him sleep on his couch years back and gives him a ride. Yeah he wins a few races, but what do you expect from a guy that has been running for 100 years, against even skilled drivers like JR without the track experince?

I'm sure Bush put more pressure on him than he could handle. But any pressure is more than Hornaday can handle.
