Alan Labrosse is manager for both Ranger and Tagliani. He used to manage Carpentier, too. Great motorcycle racer in his day. Tried a bit of car racing and was good at that too. Labrosse is also Miguel Duhamel's manager.

Dean McNulty says that Ranger "is now poised to move up to the Craftsman Truck Series and compete in several Busch Series races next season". Greg Macpherson says he's doing the full NCATS season and selected races in CTS and Busch. They're close enough that I think Dean maybe got a little confused, thinking that the "move up" was for the full season, not just selected races. Of course, if Labrosse could swing a deal for it, I'm sure Ranger would love to do a full season of CTS but that would require some serious sponsorship now that even some of the top teams are looking for drivers to bring cheques (like Roush).

According to McNulty, Ranger says that the jump to NCATS "was the best move he's made in his racing career".
