i like the top twenty idea. the rest i would ask to race their way in with a fifty lap qualifier including one mandatory pits stop minimum two tires, top 23 in rest go home but a least you have had some market time because i am sure it would be televised. just think the twin 150s at every race except only one race i guess.

I like that idea, but cars need to look their best sunday morning and a 50 lap race certainly would not lend itself well to that....

unless it was done also on sunday instead of the extremely long countdown to green.
