This will probably get me banned or warned, however I have to wonder how you Pinecrest got back on this site since you were banned many many months ago.  Back then it was frustrating to read all the discouraging comments you made to anyone and everyone on here.  I realize you are entitled to your opinion, however constantly knocking people for trying to improve their skills and be competitive just isn't right.

Now getting back to the real purpose of this thread, how many drivers out their from CASCAR past or NASCAR present can say they accomplished finishing on the podium like Kelly Williams did out at the Mosport oval??  Look at the number of female drivers out there that are turning their male counterparts heads turn due to their ability to run at the front of their racing class.  Shannon Kimmerly made massive strides in her mini stock class last season at Kawartha where she won a couple of heat races and finished in the top 3 multiple times in the feature.  Dorothy Gerrow made the move to the Thunder division last year and was showing improvement in that class until her car accident.  I wish I could remember the name of the female driving in the Modified division at Mosport the past couple of seasons as again she had managed to work her way up the pack and was competitive against the likes of Kernan and Brown.

Yes they are not winning championships yet, however I would say they have definitely shown they can compete at the same level as the males in their division.  And should we discuss the level of accomplishment of Ashley Taws last season in the OSS?  Sure she started out the season having a rough time but by the end of the season was running up front with the likes of the Robblee and Hrynuik group.

Please some female driver out there step up and show Pinecrest once again he is wrong.

Pine u are brutal..LOLO.

nextGen #9, if your hockey reference about hockey was to my mentioning about my daughter....I didnt mean NHL or OHA if thats what u thought....she has played hockey with the same guys since she was a tot and didnt want too switch...its non contact...she played rep one year contact with another girl and other teams were actually running them and these 13 and 14 yearold guys were asking pretty rude questions, never realized young boys could be such pigs...made me sick wondering about these guys parents and how they treat young ladies off the ice...it was quite an eye opener...guys on our team spent alot of minutes in the penalty box defending them...i couldnt believe the parents wanted her too play again the next year, but i respected our guys too much to let it happen again...and one organization wanted me too file charges against one guy...actually all that made me want to support other girls, women to do whatever you want, as long as you can compete with the guys.

I remember Kelly, from Flamboro, she was a great runner, a fan fave, she was well liked, her dad was ahoot sometimes, I thought she won one feature in challengers back then, I guess I'm wrong cuz Pine says she didnt...lol....there have been a few other better guy racers from Flamboro , with more help along the way and money than Kelly, that never won in Cascar.

If a women wants too race and she is competetive why not?
There are more every year....I think there are 8 at Flamboro now. They bring out lots of fans. Should we start a women racing series or division in the future? Instead of paying admission they make sandwiches for the old farts?

Plus Kelly moved up to Cascar from challengers.....and she did more than a couple of guys that did not much in late models than not much in Cascar.
