ya a big rock i guess.....lol...the kids around here are so sweet too us old fellows here, cutting our grass, shovelling snow, raking leaves, asking if we need anything....just city living, where everyone is so helpful to one another....couldnt believe these small town kids.
that is quite a little site she has....she has done pretty good for herself, seeing the world, driving different race tracks....and meeting DW ta boot. good for her.
I am almost 22 and even I think the kids nvwadays are much worse than they used to be...in gr. 8 I was a yoyo king....now its at that point....sad...very sad.
Ok I have tried to stay away from this thread but I have found my self unable to not reply lol. I believe Pinecrest to an extent is right. Now I'm not saying they shouldn't be racing because thats sexist and unfair. But since we are on the topic of that now, Fact- male drivers ages 16-25 pay much more for car insurance than girls of the same age! (statistics imply that male drivers between the age of 16-25 are more likely to race, speed) Fact-women in racing have not had much success against men (statistics imply that women cannot drive as good as men) So is this discussion really sexist OR biased when we are dealing with facts! anyway I don't believe women should be given a free pass into bigger series because of thier gender, now if they have the skill then there is no problem.
Heres what Richard Petty had to say on women in racing .....
Petty still doesn’t think women belong on track
Racing legend maintains longtime view NASCAR not ‘a sport for women’
updated 8:02 p.m. ET, Thurs., May. 25, 2006
CONCORD, N.C. - Richard Petty didn’t think women belonged on the race track when Janet Guthrie became the first female driver to compete in the Coca-Cola 600 in 1976.
Thirty years later, his opinion hasn’t changed.
“I just don't think it’s a sport for women,” Petty said in an interview with The Associated Press. “And so far, it’s proved out. It’s really not.
Not that long ago a well known NCTS driver and race winner from last year expressed the same sentiment to me but added that he could never say it publicly because of the PC times we live in .
I am sure there are several females that can run with guys that have never won and generally suck but thats not what racing is all about .
DWfan we have a winners circle in stock car racing not a podium although some whacked out people in the stock car racing are trying to euroize the sport . Williams NEVER ran top 3 in Cascar so you must be talking about some street stock type race . You don't care for me because i am a shoot from the hip tell it like it is kind of a guy and your the lets have a group hug type . If you don't want me to correct you like i have had to do several times in the past don't engage me on here . Women are not winning championships major races or anything of consequence and thats just how it is and always will be .
Shirley muldowney. now run and hide like you usually do when proven wrong. when does it end pc, should non-white race, should men under the age of 30 race? i think max mosley is having another party with your views you would likely be welcomed.

I am very dissapointed in you to say the least . Your first day back after being suspended for 3 days under the PCoC and this what what you have to say ?
This discussion is about stock car racing and females as has been mentioned near a dozen times which should have been enough to even keep you on track . But much like Erin Crocker wrecking on pit road a record 5 times in one season you just cant keep it strait .
Shirley Muldowney who is now close to 70 years old was a drag racer not a stock car racer . I dont think i have to explain the difference between someone that just stabs and steers for a few seconds and someone that has to race 500 miles . A test using remote control on dragsters in Austrailia or New Zeland a few years ago showed that drag times could be improved with out a driver at all . If there is a motorsport that suits females it is drag racing and if i was going to use an example i would have used Ashley Force , atlest she is hot .
Lets go back to Cha Cha . Shirley aka Cha Cha as she was known was only fast as long as Connie Kalitta poured millions into her dragster. Connie made huge money during the Viet Nam war with his air freight business . Connie after the Nam war went on to make crazy money with his air feight bussiness since he was situated right near the second biggiest Ford Plant at Willow run (Ypsilanti) Michigan .
When Kalitta pulled his money from Cha Cha she could not even qualify for an NHRA race . Connie went on to invest in his son and nephew Scott and Doug who broke every record his former girlfriend Cha Cha ever had .
You now have a six day suspension for violating the PCoC .
