Ryan Arbuthnot Survives Late Restart For First 358 Modified Triumph of 2018

By: Tim Baltz

Another picture perfect night of racing at The Brockville Ontario Speedway saw nothing but clear skies on this warm summer day. All 5 divisions were back in action and with competitive racing the first two nights in all five classes it was another action packed evening as always.

The 358 Modified 30 lap feature saw Ryan Poole start on the pole and immediately race out to the early lead over Gage Morin, Andy Lloyd, Luke Stewart and Joe Banks. After many seasons at Brockville in several divisions in his career Poole was fast in the early going and looking to add a 358 Modified feature win to his impressive resume. Behind the leader Gage Morin was also looking to end early season troubles as he sat comfortably in 2nd with Stewart, Bryan Rogers and Andy Lloyd completing the top 5. Nearing the halfway point other drivers started to make a charge forward as Ryan Arbuthnot started 10th and raced his way to 3rd by lap 17 but was still a great distance behind the top 2 drivers. Up front Morin and Poole were in a solid battle for the lead as they raced wheel to wheel for several laps. Morin had a good run in turn 3 but over shot the turn and nearly going off the speedway. Poole would regain control of the lead but with 10 to go it all changed as the caution flew as Chris Herbison lost control of his car in turn 4. On the restart Poole elected to take the bottom but Morin was fast on the extreme outside lane and would charge by to take the lead with Arbuthnot battling Poole for 2nd and Danny O'Brien who charged from 13th to be a late race factor moving to 4th and Kyle Dingwall now 5th. With 7 to go heading into turn 1 Gage Morin saw his great night come to an end as he slid off the top of turn 1 bringing Arbuthnot to 2nd. With 5 to go Arbuthnot made his move for the lead down the front stretch bringing Danny O'Brien to 2nd as Poole slid to 3rd oover Stewart and Dingwall. On lap 26 the final yellow flew setting up a great finish between 2 rivals. When the green flew Arbuthnot stuck with the outside while O'Brien never left the bottom. Over the final laps Ryan Arbuthnot's strategy was perfect as he marched on to score his first win of the year at Brockville. Danny O'Brien crossed in 2nd with Kyle Dingwall, Luke Stewart and opening day winer Luke Whitteker completing the top 5.

The story in the Sportsman division was would veteran Jason Shipclark finally erase all the early season demons and get to victory lane? He looked impressive in the early stages as he charged out to the early lead over Xavier Andrews, Gabe Cyr, Ryan Scott and Jarrett Herbison. An early caution before the completion of lap 1 saw a four car tangle in turn 3. Jamie Young received the most damage as his car was towed to the pits. Shipclark was running strong having pulled out to a straightaway in the early laps but behind him Ryan Scott was looking to put last week's issues behind him. After not making it to turn 1 last week due to an accident Scott was up on the wheel as he raced into the top 3 getting by Andrews at the halfway point and tried at will to run down Shipclark and 2nd place running Gabe Cyr. With 9 to go Jaso Shipclark was in front but the big lead he had was slowly dwindling as Ryan Scott was on the move. After using the high lane to get by Gabe Cyr for 2nd has patiently ran down Jason Shipclark and on lap 19 would make his move to take control of the race for good. Behind the top 2 Johnathon Ferguson and Tristan Draper came from deep in the field. after a spirited battle with Gabe Cyr they both moved to 3rd and 4th and were charging hard but time was running out. In the end it was the big man from Kingston Ryan Scott erasing last week's heartbreak to score his first Sportsman win of the season at The BOS. Jason Shipclark finally finished a race as he came home 2nd with Johnathon Ferguson charging from 11th to 3rd, Tristan Draper charged forward late in the event for 4th while Gabe Cyr completed the top 5.

The Street Stock division has seen the name Bushey since the mid 90s and with Tyler Bushey taking last year's title and last week's win, it appears the Ogdensburg native isn't going away anytime soon. Sheldon Hoogwerf shot out to the early lead over Michael Dillon and Nick Gauvreau at the start. On lap 4 Tyler Bushey, who started 5th was on the move as he took over the lead over opening day winner Hoogwerf and Dillon. Once in front Tyler Bushey was hammer down as he built up a commanding lead near the halfway point leaving the rest of the field to figure out how to run him down. With the lead all but solidified with 5 to go a spirited battle raged on between Dillon and Hoogwerf for 2nd with Steve Brady and Todd Raabe running 4th and 5th. At the finish Tyler Bushey proved he is serious about getting another title as he charged to his 2nd win in as many weeks in the Street Stock ranks with a dominant performance. a near dead heat at the line saw Michael Dillon edge out Sheldon Hoogwerf for the 2nd spot with Steve Brady and Todd Raabe rounding out the top 5.

In the 15 lap Mini Stock feature Dylan Kirkland who had motor troubles 1 week ago had a brand new power plant under the hood and it proved to be fast in this night as he charged to the early lead with last week's winner Brandon Henderson, Dominick Merkley, Tyson Slinger and Samantha Henderson giving chase. Kirkland and Henderson hed clearly the fastest cars on track as opening day winner Merkley was looking for some way to run those 2 drivers down. By halfway the battle was on as Brandon Henderson would make his way by the leader and begin to put some distance between himself and the defending track champion. As the laps wound down Henderson showed no signs of letting up leaving the Kirkland, Merkley, Richard Bartholomew and Samantha Henderson to battle it out in the top 5. After waiting for so long to claim his first ever win a week ago, Brandon Henderson ended a lengthy 7 day winless drought to score back to back wins in the Mini Stock ranks at Brockville. Dylan Kirkland settled for 2nd with Dominic Merkley, Samantha Henderson and Richard Bartholomew completing the top 5.

A classic battle in the 15 lap rookie Sportsman feature saw Xavier Perrin charge to the early lead over Jonah Hill and opening day winner Gavin Riddell. Perrin would lead the opening 6 laps before Brock Cullen was able to sneak bay and take the top spot away as the handling began to go south on Perrin's car. Just past the halfway point of the race Gavin Riddell was on the charge after an early race spin and made his way to 2nd. From lap 9 on both Cullen and Riddell exchanged the lead twice per lap with neither driver gaining a clear advantage. Riddell would sneak by on the bottom and Cullen would pull the cross over move off the corner to regain the lead as they put on a fantastic chow for the fans. On lap 13 Cullen would finally take over for good, despite a final effort by Riddell Brock Cullen would go back to back in as many starts winning the Rookie Sportsman feature. Riddell scored 2nd over Jonah Hill who recovered from a spin early to finish 3rd with Michael Fournier and Melissa Gofford completing the top 5.

Next week the Border Battle Series takes place at Brockville with 1000 Islands RV on hand as the title sponsor for the night. 35 laps for the Modifieds plus a 30 lap special for Sportsman, Rookie Sportsman, Street Stock, Mini Stock and the 2nd trip for the Outlaw Vintage Modifieds as well. The action kicks off at 7pm.

358 Modified

RYAN ARBUTHNOT, Danny O'Brien, Kyle Dingwall, Luke Stewart, Luke Whitteker, Ryan Poole, Tim O'Brien, Steve Barber, Bryan Rogers, Corey Wheeler, Adam Turner, Jeremy LaSalle, Joe Banks, Chris Herbison, Aaron Pugh, Gage Morin, Andy Lloyd, Steve Bilow, Jason Riddell

Heat winners: Ryan Poole, Chris Herbison and Tim O'Brien

Sportsman

RYAN SCOTT, Jason Shipclark, Johnathon Ferguson, Tristan Draper, Gabriel Cyr, Xavier Andrews, Jarrett Herbison, Tyler Reynolds, Jesse Hudson, Brad Winters, Dale Gifford, Josh Kirkland, Jason Cummings, Alex Gagnon, Dan Ferguson, Geneva Sheffield, Joey Paquette, Jamie Young

Heat Winners: Jason Shipclark, Tyler Reynolds and Xavier Andrews

Rookie Sportsman

BROCK CULLEN, Gavin Riddell, Jonah Lewis, Michael Fournier, Melissa Gifford, Xavier Perrin

Heat Winner: Xavier Perrin

Street Stock

TYLER BUSHEY, Michael Dillon, Sheldon Hoogwerf, Steve Brady, Todd Raabe, Kyle Massey, Nick Gauvreau, Tayler Andrews, Perry Como, Ryan Brown

Heat Winners: Michael Dillon and Tyler Bushey

Mini Stock

BRANDON HENDERSON, Dylan Kirkland, Dominick Merkley, Samantha Henderson, Richard Bartholomew, Andrew Leroux, Dave Watchorn, Tyson Slinger, Mark Packer, Tyler Hazelaar, Tristan Hurford, Kurtis Daye, Logan Woods, Jessie Wolfe, Jarrod Galway

Heat Winners: Dylan Kirkland and Tyson Slinger

After Mother Nature claimed the win 1 week ago all drivers were up on the wheel and ready to race.

Earlier in the night a special 8 car dash took place in support of the family of long time race fan Jess Denna who passed away unexpectedly in March. Long time friend and Central New York Sportsman driver Michelle Courcy paced the field carrying her best friend's favorite number 5 on the side of her car for the parade lap. Chris Herbison took home the win in the 8 lap contest with Luke Whitteker and Luke Stewart completing the top 3.

The 358 Modified 30 lap feature went green and Andy Lloyd jumped to the top spot over Aaron Pugh, Jeremy LaSalle, Adam Turner and Luke Stewart. The caution came out before the completion of lap 1 as Chris Raabe, Danny O'Brien and Luke Whitteker spun in turn 3. All eyes were on those 3 drivers as they charged from the back of the field. On the restart Aaron Pugh drove by Andy Lloyd for the lead and proceeded to put on a dominant display of driving talent. Behind the leader Jeremy LaSalle was going to work as he got by Andy Lloyd for 2nd with Tim O'Brien and Corey Wheeler completing the top 5. By halfway Pugh had opened up a straightaway advantage but Jeremy LaSalle was slowly chipping away at the deficit as Wheeler, Tim O'Brien and Modified Rookie Steve Barber tried to keep pace. As fast as Aaron Pugh was it looked like he was well on his way to his first ever win and the only thing stopping him was a caution. On lap 20 that's exactly what happened as Steve Bilow spun collecting Ryan Poole and several others. When the green flew Pugh stayed committed to the bottom as LaSalle made his way to the top lane while Wheeler and Chris Raabe had a spirited battle for 3rd with Barber still continuing to run 5th. LaSalle had a fast car and let Aaron Pugh know he was there over the remaining laps. Coming to the line with 2 to go Jeremy LaSalle charged by on the top side off turn 4 for the lead. After 3 years of trying Jeremy LaSalle finally got the job done collecting his first ever 358 Modified victory. Aaron Pugh finished a hard fought 2nd with Corey Wheeler 3rd, Chris Raabe rebounded from early race problems for 4th and Chris Herbison got by Steve Barber to complete the top 5.

In Sportsman action Jamie Young who was making his return to the Sportsman ranks in 2018 with a brand new car, took the lead right away but the race went under red just as quick as Dale Gifford pounded an infield tire off turn 4 collecting Ryan Scott in the process. Gifford had to be helped from the car but did walk to the ambulance and would be ok. When the green flew it was Young taking the lead once again over Alex Gagnon, Jesse Hudson, Tyler Reynolds and Joey Paquette. As the race went on and the laps clicked off Jamie Young was basically on auto pilot as he drove away from a quality field but Shane Pecore and Johnathon Ferguson was making a charge to the front quickly. Ferguson would be the first driver to make his way forward as he took over 2nd on lap 12. At the halfway point Ferguson then ran down Jamie Young for the lead and would take over the top spot a lap later while Pecore was making his way to 3rd and was putting pressure on Young for 2nd. On lap 21 a possible top 5 finish for Jamie Young went away as he slipped off turn 2 losing several spots. On lap 22 the break Shane Pecore needed came at the expense of Alex Gagnon who saw his best ever finish slip away with a blown motor. On the restart Pecore went right to work on the outside taking the lead from Ferguson who tried his best to get the spot back. With 1 lap left JJ Courcy, was on the move from 24th spot got hooked together with another car in turn 3 bringing out the final yellow. The Central New York invader would cross 13th on the night. On the final restart Pecore was able to get away cleanly and march on to his first win of the year at Brockville. Ferguson kept his great season going with another 2nd place effort. Jesse Hudson, Tristan Draper and Tyler Reynolds completed the top 5.

In Street Stock action The action was fast and furious as Steve Brady took the lead early but it didn't take long for defending track champion Tyler Bushey to get the top spot away as he took the lead on lap 3. Bushey would have some company towards the mid stages of the race as Michael Dillon would mount a challenge. After a quick yellow for a spun Travis Neuman, the green flag flew again on lap 6 an Dillon took the lead away over Bushey and Brady. But the defending champ got up on the wheel and made his way back around Dillon on lap 9 and was looking to run away. Over the final laps Michael Dillon did all he could to get by the Tyler Bushey was not to be denied on the night, scoring win number 1 of the year. Dillon finished a hard fought 2nd over Steve Brady, opening day winner Sheldon Hoogwerf and Todd Raabe.

Rookie Sportsman were set for 15 laps and it started off on a wild note as 2 karting graduates Xavier Perrin and Gavin Riddell had a spirited battle for the race lead in the opening laps. On lap 4 Riddell got by Perrin off turn 2 but both drivers hooked bumpers sending both of them off the back stretch with Perrin nearly flipping over. Both were able to continue. On the restart veteran Brock Cullen was making his debut in the Rookie sportsman class as he took control of the event. At the halfway point Cullen held a comfortable advantage with Jonah Lewis, Gavin Riddell, Xavier Perrin and Melissa Gifford. Over the final laps Brock Cullen made it look easy as he has now won in 3 different divisions at the speedway claiming his first ever Rookie Sportsman checkered flag. Jonah Lewis overcame handling issues all night for 2nd while Gavin Riddell rebounded for a 3rd place finish.

The Mini Stock event started off with 2 early caution flags for Mark Packer and Dominick Merkley as they both had issues in the early going. Once the laps clicked off Tyler Hazelaar was the race leader over Brandon Henderson and Jared Galway. Hazelaar had his car on cruise control and was looking like he may claim his first ever Mini Stock win. On lap 8 things changed as coming off turn 4 Hazelaar made contact with another car and spun and slammed into an infield tire. The race was red flagged but in typical race car driver fashion Hazelaar shook off the accident and re-fired the car and joined at the tail of the field. This left Brandon Henderson in control and was looking to win his first ever race after many years of trying. Over the final laps Dominick Merkley was making a big charge to the front but the red would come back out on lap 13 for Shawn Willigar as he crashed hard in turn 2. Willigar would climb out of the car without injury. On the final restart Dominick Merkley was looking to win back to back but Brandon Henderson was in control and never looked back scoring his first even Mini Stock victory at Brockville. Merkley held on for 2nd over Tyson Slinger, Smantha Henderson and Jared Galway.

The 12 lap vintage feature saw plenty of attrition but also saw a great lead battle. Josh Powers led early on but Kenny Polite was making his return to racing after a year off and was pressuring Powers the entire race. On lap 9 the final yellow flew as Pat Charland spun in turn 3. On the final restart Kenny Polite made a big run at the leader but Josh Powers had the hot set up and cruised to his 2nd win in 7 days having won a Vintage feature on Monday night in Cornwall. Polite held on for 2nd as Pat Charland rebounded for 3rd.

The Outlaw Vintage have next week off but all 5 regular divisions will be back on the card for a full program. He was patient in the opening laps while the field sorted itself out, but made a daring three-wide pass at the hallway point to take over the fourth position.

“You can actually see the lap counter at this place coming out of turn two, which is handy to keep track of what lap it is. We just kept picking away while trying to keep the tires underneath it, which is a big thing here,” O’Brien said of his race strategy. “You can run a tire off the car pretty quickly, especially when the Sprint Cars are here.”

O’Brien moved into third a couple of laps later – and just in time. Second-place runner Chris Herbison’s No.63 broke while in second, allowing Danny to pull alongside him brother Tim for the lap 21 restart. Tim’s half straightaway lead was erased as the two brothers were pitted against each other for the final nine laps.

They raced side-by-side for most of it with Tim on the outside and Danny on the bottom. Danny appeared to have the advantage with five laps to go, but Tim had the preferred outside lane and gathered enough momentum to power to the win off the final corner.

“I knew it was going to be a good race,” Danny said. “I got the tires cooled down and the bottom was good for a few laps, but the longer you ran the worse it got. I couldn’t get it done the first few laps, so we just kept trying and the fans got to see a great side-by-side race.”

Danny wanted to move to the outside lane during the battle, but was never clear of Tim and have to do his best to make the inside groove work.

“You can’t pass him on the top when he’s on the top,” Danny said. “All you’re doing is following. Into three you had to wait so long and that’s where I was losing it all. Coming out of four was really good, I just couldn’t get into turn three.”

While Danny would have certainly preferred to win his third race of the season at Brockville, he’ll gladly take the second-place result with his brother picking up the win.

“O’Briens first and second, so we’ll take it. Timmy has bragging rights this week,” laughed Danny.

Danny O’Brien will return to action in his 1000 Islands RV Centre No.17d on Friday, June 16 at Mohawk International Raceway before returning to Brockville on Saturday, June 17.

SEASON STATS
Danny O’Brien – 7 Starts: 2 Wins, 5 Top-5s, 7 Top-10s

DANNY O’BRIEN MEDIA
Website: dannyobrien.ca
Facebook: facebook.com/DannyOBrienRacing

Danny O’Brien is proud to partner with several dedicated marketing partners for the 2017 race season, including 1000 Islands RV Centre, ATC World Class Trailers, Bob FM, Pat’s Auto Centre, Bicknell Racing Products, Heather-Lynn Topping, Integra Shocks, Number One Speed Shock Service and Kenneth Topping

Danny O’Brien Set For Busy 2017 Title Defense Season

INVERARY, Ont. – April 27, 2017 – A 13th championship season at Brockville Ontario Speedway led to an enjoyable off-season for Danny O’Brien. Now, the Inverary, Ont. native is making final preparations to begin his 358 Modified title defense season.

While Brockville’s season won start until Saturday, May 13, O’Brien will begin his season one week earlier with a doubleheader at Mohawk International Raceway in Hogansburg, NY on May 5 and a stop at Can-Am Motorsports Park in Lafargeville, NY on May 6. O’Brien is both prepared and excited for the new campaign to begin.

“It’s just fun to get back to the track again,” O’Brien said. “You see you all the friends you didn’t see all winter long and a bunch of different people. It gets your year started again.”

O’Brien was strong all season long in 2016 at Brockville and on the road. He earned 13 top-five finishes in 14 starts at Brockville last year, part of a larger 17-race streak of top-five results. Duplicating that level of success will be tough for the driver of the 1000 Islands RV Centre No.17d. O’Brien hopes not only to replicate the feat, but improve upon it.

“You always set goals for yourself,” O’Brien said. “The top-five thing was going great last year for a long time and you always try to better yourself. We do that every year.”

Over the course of a five-month season, its easy for a driver to focus too heavily on the point standings. O’Brien, however, pays no attention.

“We’re just going to go race by race,” he said. “I find if you do that, look after the race that’s coming up first and do the best you can then move on to the next one, (the points will) take care of themselves.”

O’Brien and his team have assembled a pair of identical Bicknell Racing Products with Pat Morrison Engines cars once again for the 2017 season. With two cars in the stable, O’Brien will be able to place a greater emphasis on winning.

“Hopefully we have enough equipment that if we race on a Friday night, we don’t have to be super careful,” O’Brien said. “It was always tough when they drop the green on a Friday night race because I had to think ahead to Saturday. We’re going to have a spare car sitting here so if we get in trouble, we’ll have a backup.”

Currently, O’Brien is scheduled to compete in more than 30 races in 2017, a number that will undoubtedly be affected by rainouts. Each race brings something new, but O’Brien is undoubtedly most excited for Cornwall’s $10,000-to-win 358 Modified race on August 17.

“Whenever you get a good paying race in your backyard, it’s nice,” O’Brien commented. “It’s tough to go into someone else’s backyard and race them. On the other hand, I don’t race Cornwall weekly and I haven’t for quite a while, so we may have to make a run down there early just to get one race in beforehand.”

Follow Danny O’Brien’s 358 Modified team all summer long at www.dannyobrien.ca.

DANNY O’BRIEN MEDIA

Website: dannyobrien.ca

Facebook: facebook.com/DannyOBrienRacing

Danny O’Brien is proud to partner with several dedicated marketing partners for the 2017 race season, including 1000 Islands RV Centre, ATC World Class Trailers, Bob FM, Pat’s Auto Centre, Bicknell Racing Products, Heather-Lynn Topping, Integra Shocks, Number One Speed Shock Service and Kenneth Topping

The opening night of the season-ending spectacular features the DIRTcar Big Block, Sportsman Modified and Pro Stocks with a 7:00 start. We have a very loyal fan base and they’re counting the days until the first green flag. I’m pretty sure our team of staff and officials is pumped-up and ready to get back at it as well.”

Short Track Saturday Night Notes: Drivers and teams will get a chance to turn hit the track for some laps in their equipment before the year’s action gets underway. After an impressive season at Brockville and the track championship at his hometown Cornwall Motor Speedway, the second generation speedster is taking a 23-point lead into the Super Dirt Week satellite events at Brewerton and Weedsport Speedways (near Syracuse, New York), with his sights set on clinching the crown during the Saturday, October 15th season-ending spectacular at The BOS.

“I’ve never really been the type of driver to worry about points; just winning races and getting the best possible finish,” said the youngster. “My focus has changed a bit lately and I’ve become more aware of who is running where in the order. Every position that we can gain on the track is worth a little more in the standings and we’re looking to take as big a cushion as we can into the final show at Brockville.”

The late season events on the calendar have already been very kind to Shane Pecore. He won the Pete Mitchell Memorial at Mohawk International Raceway, finished 7th during the Applefest Shootout at Brighton Speedway and was 5th out of a stellar field of 82 Sportsman-Modified entries during the Outlaw 200 Weekend at Fulton Speedway. The #0 Bicknell Racing Products machine made its way to the winner’s circle a total of 10 times during the 2016 campaign and in addition to the point title, earned the ‘Race for the Cure’ title for a 3 race mini of 100 lap shows at Cornwall Motor Speedway.

“Momentum is an important component of this sport and I’m happy with the position we’ve put ourselves in heading-down the home stretch,” admitted the confident racer. “The hard work we’ve put into our program this season has paid dividends since the first green flag of the year and I think we’re in a good spot to be a contender for the overall title. To have the final race of the play out on a track where we’ve run all season puts our time into a strong position.”

Behind the scenes and at track, Pecore’s equipment is prepared and maintained by the driver himself, his girlfriend Chelsea Periard along with his parents Marcel and Cindy. Shane Pecore would like to thank the team’s sponsors St. Andrews Service Centre, Mister Sew & Sew, Fox/Fastline Racing Shocks, Tru$peed Technical Services & Driver Consulting and NAPA Auto Parts; as well as his family, friends and fans for their support throughout the 2016 season.

It’s a win in the most prestigious event on the annual schedule at Brockville Ontario Speedway. Making it to victory lane at the 1000 Islands RV DIRTcar Northeast Fall Nationals could very well be the defining moment of a racer’s career. Many drivers have tried, but only a select few have been fortunate enough to leave the late season spectacular with the hardware that accompanies a trip to victory lane.

In the first 7 editions of this event, a unique cross-section of teams from Ontario, Quebec, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts has signed-in to battle head-to-head with the Saturday night home track talent. Brockville Speedway owner/promoter Paul Kirkland says hard work and preparation are the key to Fall Nationals’ success.

“No one in the sport does a better job at making sure their equipment is ready for action than the group who runs here each and every week,” said Kirkland. “They see a variety of different track conditions during our Saturday night shows throughout the year, but the invaders travel around to a number of places – in addition to a regular stop – during the schedule. That gives them a slight advantage when searching for the winning raceday set-up.”

This year’s action is underway Friday, October 14th and features the DIRTcar Small Block Modifieds, Late Models and Street Stocks, with the first green flag at 7:00. The Saturday, October 15th program gets rolling at 4:00 and includes the DIRTcar Big Block and Sportsman Mods, Mini Stock and Outlaw Vintage teams. With live musical entertainment during the weekend extravaganza, Kirkland says that track officials are expecting a strong turn-out on both sides of the fence.

“With the 358 Modified and Sportsman crowns decided at The BOS, everyone will be looking to collect valuable Mr. DIRTcar championship trail points,” said Kirkland. “This will also be the only 2016 date for the Big Block Modifieds at Brockville, so it should be a great weekend.”

For the 8th annual edition of the 1000 Islands RV Northeast Fall Nationals – A Craig Revelle Tribute, presented by St. Lawrence Radiology, Rez-X Racing and sponsored by 103.7 BOB-FM, the Brockville Recorder & Times and CKWS-TV – the Friday, October 14th program has the final Mr. DIRTcar championship event for the 358 Modifieds, Late Models and Street Stocks, with a 7:00 green flag. The Saturday, October 15th agenda is headlined by DIRTcar Big Block Mods, the championship final for Sportsman Modifieds, Mini Stocks and Outlaw Vintage Mods. Racing hits the popular 3/8th of a mile oval on Temperance Lake Road at 4:00.

Fans can find complete Northeast Fall Nationals updates and details by checking www.brockvillespeedway.com, as well as the track’s Facebook page and Twitter feed.

Brockville Speedway
www.brockvillespeedway.com
Brockville quarter mile, clay, oval track runs Sportsman, Pro Stock and Modifieds.
