The race marks the eighth race of the season for the tour this season and the final race of a stretch of four races in four weeks.

Brighton Speedway has hosted 360 Sprint Car racing for several decades, but this Saturday’s visit by the Action Sprint Tour marks the first visit for Crate Sprint Car racing to the one-third mile Eastern Ontario oval located just off the shores of Lake Ontario.

The race will be particularly exciting for Gores Landing, Ontario driver Brandon Murrell. Murrell is one of only a few drivers on the tour, including veteran Sprint Car racer Ryan Hunsinger, that have definitive experience at Brighton.
