Hey I just want to know how many people would like to weight added to the winners to help tighten up the field of cars in any class. Now what I mean is that if you win multiple time in your division then you should have weight add. The only reason why I think that this needs to happen is so that every driver in that class has a chance to go out and win on any given nigh, and the guys with all the money and power (in their motors) aren't winning everthing all the time.
I don't think the success weight rule works at Barrie Speedway at all. I also don't think that if you have a fast car that is legal you should be penalized for it. I think the other drivers just need to step up and do some more homework. Do they have success weight for NASCAR's or other classes like them? If you aren't as fast as others you may just be do something wrong or just not as aggressive as those drivers either.
we were all told at the drivers meeting, that when a next gen car was running away with everything, weight would be added. i guess i've been racing in my dreams, because nobody had weight added this year. if all the cars were the same rules, then i'd be against weight, but we run two totally different cars in this class.
The 4 quickest cars in my opinion are the oo and 2 new gens, then the 44 and49 old school, there gonna be fast anyway.
No they don't have a weight rule in nascar, but you have to remember that nascar is a multi million doller machine they have all the r&d to make every car the same and then it is all down to skill of your crew chief and your crew. The average guy racing at his local track does not have the budget to put into a big time motor or the best suspension parts in his car, so why should he be left out of the chance to win some races.
