I imply that our top thunders are faster than yours...no offense, but its fact.

Frank, Doucette and St. Onge are faster, any invitational they were the only ones who stood out from our guys, now if he were a real racer and wanted good Thunder car competition, he might consider Flamboro as they have one of the most competitive Thunder car field right through the pack with guys like Russnell, Collision, Silverthorn Jr, Matt Jackson, Mcllroy, Zardo, and Cashmore. So one would argue a real racer would run against a competitive field instead of just fast cars.

In the case of StOnge its the car not the driver . I am not saying StOnge cant drive but the strongest asset that team has is the car . Frank may have run Barrie in 07 but he cut his teeth at Sunset and i would hazard a guess that he has raced 10 laps for everyone he has run at Barrie so when the Barrittes claim Frank as theirs it rings a little hollow . Doucette is just a flat out hard driving son of a gun and on several nights that i saw him took a car that really didn't handle all that well and took it to the front . Doucette in the one invitational at Sunset that i saw him run never really got around the place that well . I believe Funnerton was as quick as any of the above mentioned most of the year . Although he packed it in about half way through the season Carlyle (sp) was maybe the quickest Thunder car at either of the two tracks  that i saw last year. I think alto of people under estimate the edge a New Gen car has over a conventional Thunder car and IMO a New Gen really isn't a Thunder Car , its a LLM with a bad front clip . The best true Thunder car at either track is the #23 from Sunset hands down unfortunately it lacks a driver.

  All that was in 07 and in about 75 days the 08 season will begin and none of that will matter a hill of beans . I think both tracks Thunder cars are pretty even but the rules really favor the New Gen .
