Not to stir the pot or anything here...But I gotta ask it...why would you change rules that aren't being enforced anyways? Wouldn't it make more sense to spend more effort getting the rules you have know enforced and get the class back under control?
Otherwise you'd be changing the rules to make the cars legal, rather than changing the cars to match the new rules.
Introducing 16 valve cars to a class like mini stock will kill it, especailly with a weak (not trying to insult anyone) tech area. Those 16 valves will dominate, and force the other makes to cheat to catch up. If this isn't regulated, look out. My last trip to sunset and Kawartha was a great example of that. Even the Barrie cars were so illegal it was actually kind of funny. Quite enjoyed the "Outlaw" mini stock shows.
my 2 cents.
I know if thay let 16v in the stangs fall to the back but what I'm thinking is the mustangs could be able to do some engine work..
Again....If the tech isn't all over it, then the mustangs will charge back to the front because who's gonna limit what they do?
well that's where our tech has to step in...... I mean step UP and keep the class under control
From what I hear, and see...It's not doing that now.
