Victory Lap after a feature win

I am just saying  that if some one decided to do all of the above it would take a minute and a half and with some people the interview is more like a five minute ordeal plus getting them and every person they have ever met in the victory pictures another five to ten minutes plus a lap.  At a track at Barrie the stands go most of the way around the track and that's ok but at a track like say del or pet etc there are only people on the front stretch so the rest of the lap is just a waste of time and if you do the lap the next feature is lining up on the back stretch and I would hate to see something happen out there.

well at Barrie at least for the charger class, all that is happening after the feature is intermission which is king of the hill. interviews at barrie never last anymore then a minute and a half. and with getting photos, Mike Kiers is very good at moving it along quickly. He took a bunch of pictures in about 60 seconds and then we were gone. But yes if there are people all the way around the track then it makes more sense to do a lap as opposed to a track with people only on the front stretch. for that type of track i think a burnout or donuts would be more appreciated by the fans. It just all depends on the track. Take Nascar for example. When the race goes late and something was suppose to be on the air. You don't see them caring and they always cover the victory celebration no matter how long it takes and they cover the interview. But at a local track there should be a limit, but a burnout or a victory lap is not going to slow things down that much after a feature win. It just would be nice to see all the feature winners take a lap...if you've never done it before it is an amazing feeling waving that flag out the wondow, driving around the track and all you hear is people cheering.
