Thayne,hope you are feeling better today ,that was a pretty devastating wreck.The #12 volvo is a write-off,the #27 volkswagen,while it is likely fixable ,probably wont be repaired.The #15 mustang is badly hurt and being a backup car  it might also not be fixed.Toss in your damage and their is potentially 4 written off cars.WOW.Plus collateral damage on some others.Very unfortunate because that race,aside from the wreck,was a fun,fast,clean,tight race.

Spencer,what can I say,you absolutely rock,man.Talked to DOUG TOWNSEND afterwards,he had a blast and he  expects you back their whenever you can.I heard a ton of comments on not only your microphone skills,but how it seemed to also bring Dougs announcing up a notch.Top shelf effort,thats the best that joint has sounded in years.

One final big shoutout to all the visiting cars.That was some excellent racing in all classes,I sincerely hope everyone enjoyed the night  and plan on returning for the remaining sunday invites later this season.
Now,if I coulda passed just one more orange mustang.......................................................

thanks 19.... i wanted a shot at her...but thats the way she goes...2 bad about the 12...really nice kid....the 27 hit us soo hard and so long after that the kid behind me said he was already undoing his helmet when we got hit...thats a good 7seconds and he nailed us...

It is a shame that the 13 is such a weapon and wrecked all them cars...but mistakes happen i spose...

Actually,the 27 was the first car to hit you,he got your left rear and then the 27 headed/spun down to the infield and in turn got clocked by ,I think,the 37 car.Then the 12 got you and then the 15 got the 12 and then the 3 got the 15.I talked to the 15,he said he came off the corner,saw everyone wrecked,jammed the brakes ,but by that point there was fluid down and he couldnt even slow down.That would have been the impact after about 5 seconds.
Kinda reminds me of a daytona/talladega wreck were one mistake takes out a bunch.

For the record I think the 13 somehow thought he was clear of you and that is why he moved up the track.He is certainly not the type to intentionally cause a wreck,just had a lapse in judgement at an extremely wrong time.From where I was,which was right beside you going into corner 3,I thought the 13 got a bit loose and that is what started him going up the track.

My wife taped the race and has pretty good footage of the wreck.When I get it downloaded and burned to disc,I`ll send you a copy if you want it.Or if I can figure out youtube I might post it there.

i wls love a copy...and i was told the 13 does that all the time...but like i said...mistakes happen...just sux my year might be done now...we will see if the car is repairable or not tonight...

;D hey tried to find you after ther night was done there mini19 but you musta been busy,  have to say the next invitational down at varney i bringing my car,  good people and good racing. have to say thats a place to have a good time wish it had not gone so late though. didnt get home till 1:30am and i am still paying for it 😉
