So Shawn, Johnny Crossman and I spoke with Steve St Onge on Saturday after the races and we had a great conversation regarding a few issues in the Charger divsion. Seeing as it is a new class things are being worked on as we go. Apparently not only some charger drivers but the track found it was needing to make up a rule to allow drivers to not be able to use "A" division cars. So I believe that something will be put in place to not allow that to happen anymore. I still think that "A" drivers can use whatever 4 cylinder car they want to if they happen to mess up their own car during the course of a race night. WE also discussed some of the issues with faster cars and we suggested adding weight to some of the cars that are in the points race that are coming through the field. Whether something happens with that will be determined at a later date. Also as far as moving people up it is too late and we all seem to think so, but as for people not in the points race they may get asked to move up. We will wait and see. Also we hope that Brad Richmond is passing the charger cars through tech without much of a look for a reason. I believe this is being done so that people will be thrown off guard when he decides to have some cars torn apart one night. My dad says Brad Richmond is a smart man and this is what he is probably doing. So if any of you 4 cylinder drivers are thinking of cheating now since they have not been looking for a couple of weeks, well I would not even attempt it because believe me they will find something and it may ruin your season. So just a heads up to all you guys and gals who may be thinking that tech is no more for the rest of the year. I believe it is far from over. Barrie has been doing great with things this year and they are handling situations with more class then ever before.

Also for the Charger class I would have to say that the top 3 should have to move to the "A" division next year. That idea is not because I am in 4th....lol....because I am not racing next year anyways, and the year after that I will be in a Thundercar for the season, as well next year I may have the opportunity to run a thundercar a few times!

I think the way the track is handling things this year will attract many new faces next year and I believe that the car counts will increase significantly in each division. I see there being over 100 cars next year but we all need to get the word out that Barrie is the place to be either to watch the show or to be in the show.

I think that the possibility is there for Barrie to be the place to be. It is an excellent place to race, we have the fastest Thunder Cars (that's pretty obvious after what has happened in the past couple weeks), the Charger division is like family with lots of people helping other people, the LLM class is usually very exciting, there are more cars coming out every week (I think about one new car comes out every week, at least that's what I am noticing), the fans and drivers are very passionate about racing and their track. Just the message count and all of the participants talking about racing issues in the CRO Barrie Speedway board will tell you that. The stands are usually pretty packed. I think the word has gone out already. We just need some characters and some more rivalries and we will have some excellent entertainment for the fans. We don't need any of that sideshow schtick they need down there, with exploding school busses and rocket powered tricycles...

If they were to make it so that A division cars cannot be driven, what would they do about Paitra Surerus? She switches with Tanja Huffman every other weekend. That would either force her to move up, or not race at all.......
