Kawartha gets my vote although Barrie is a close second Kawartha has the facilities and has a very approachable (and the best in IMHO) promotor in Derek Lynch a racers racer that's used it as a tool to promote as he understands things other just simply miss always a joy to run into!

Because not the owner :(, not that the track needs to be up kept more...but becuase of the people there...good home town racing...The people, the Drivers are all amazing...and everytime i'm there its just good times...Even know racing does bring out the drama in everyone...I find it just good times...The good and bad memories of the track and the racing 🙂

i've never met him but he seems to have his stuff together...
but as far as bringing sponsors to the track and the fact that someone who is not a total race nut but is there to see someone they can go and sit in a climate controlled area with tvs, better washrooms, slot machines if they please and doesn't have to get pelted with rubber and speedy dry and oil. it's actually nice there.
now when i went to barrie and stood by the turn 2 fence in the pits that was by far the coolest place to watch a race...you can see how the cars are working and they come at you...awesome for the race nut!
i haven't been to all of the tracks but i think kawartha is the best all around of the ones i've seen...
Have to agree with you guys with Derek. I have been all over Southern Ontario in the last 25 years attending races and I think he ranks up there with the best of them. I have questioned some of his judgements over the past 5 years ( going to ACT rules this season for one ) but he always seem to come out smelling like roses. I have eaten my words on the ACT rules. Car counts are marginally up and the competition is unbelievable in the LM class. For that matter it is in all of the classes at KD this year.
