Dave,
Robin was out testing Saturday afternoon. He is planning on running when the schedule doesn't conflict with the Can Tire Series. Hopefully he has better luck than the couple of nights he ran last year. He is way over due for some good racing luck. Gaunt will be behind the wheel of a brand new Schotanus car. First complete build Peter has done in many years, sweet looking ride. I was also hoping to be at Barrie in Peter's second car (former and recently reclipped Big Dog car) but came up a little short on funding.
AHHHH that sucks about the funding Keith, would of been nice to see another former track champ in the LLM field..
I'm guessin the LLM field will look something like this::: 2 Brown, 8 Lewis, 10 Shepherd, 22 Inglis, 28 Jongen, 36 Zutich, 54 Bull, 57 Quesnelle, 69 Inglis, and then add the Gaunt car whatever # he's electing to race..That's 10 cars anyways.. Dont think you'll see 5 Quesnelle back, and hearing 6 Maiato is returning to Sunset.. Might also see the odd appearance by 61 Ritchie and 91 Hart as well I would presume..
We weren't around the patch much last year so i'm not really sure, but i think he may have won. When Amanda ran against Randy in 2009 his car was a peter car so I'm assuming it was the same car last year. I was talking to Harts crew guy Rob last night and he told me that hart is having a funding issue as well, so, maybe no donny this year, we'll see.
AHHHH just answered my own question.. Ya Bull did win the points at Pete last year by 67 over the 55 car..
Good luck to you Kelly if your running the LOSC this year, and if that other "rumor" is true of Amanda running a LM at The Downs wish her the same safety and sucess..

Randy Bull did win the 2010 Peterborough Championship.
