There yah go the word mandatory isnt in there, all there gonna test is to see that your seat is welded and wont move in any direction.
Also just to add, you dont have to remove the stock dash either.
On that note I haven't really looked but I don't think I've seen a 4 cyl at BSW WITHOUT an aluminum racing seat... Not going to preach, but it is your life...
Im just stating what the rules read, I wouldn't mind seeing a few four funs that are able to compete up there, I mean for practice at Autumn Colours they run Four Fun and 4 cylinders together and down there I could keep with those guys in my sunbird.
Just another question??? Why wouldnt the 16v be allowed to run in the Pure Stock division??? I mean Sunset allows them, so being that this is an invitational it should be home track rules??? Otherwise it wouldnt be called an invitational would it?? Sure those 16v Hondas might spank our guys but without allowing them you set yourself up for a very poor car count from what could potentially be there imo. But I do think some of our faster Pure Stocks could compete with the 16v cars as well guys like Crumbie and Melenhorst wouldnt get blown away on their own track I assure you. And I think it could be a good thing if the guys from the two tracks put on a good show and some respectful racing towards each other. Might be the stepping stone for what we all want to see, a LLM/Thunder touring series between the two tracks in the future. Besides I want to see my friend USERNAME come up and run Barrie so I can meet him!!! That guy f'n rocks!!!!!
Dave ; Why cant everyone be as sensable and look at the bigger picture like you do. I'll see you at wickies on wed. night and bring a few of my friends from sunset.First jugs on me.Will we be watching the power hour or desperate housewives.
