you'd have to ask Shawn Monette about that one, he has it in a frame at his house. As for the Barrie Examiner. I have one here for Jul 11th, 2007, with the heading 'Baker Rolls to Victory in Late Model'. It's a half page article with run downs for all divisions. I know i have seen more as well.

There was an article written in the Barrie Examiner Sports section on March 20, 2008 stating the improvments that were made in 2007, website info, track phone number, admission prices, the racing being televised on Rogers, and about the Barrie Mall Show.

a few years ago there was an article in the Parry Sound newspaper about my dad... actually there were 2 different ones... they mentioned quite a few other drivers in it as well.... i think putting something in the paper would be good.. or even the speedway doing like a "newsletter".. even if its like once a month and they go over everything that happened...

even though it would be old news for us, it might get new people interested in coming to see the show

The piece on the Melenhorst brothers that currently appears on the Barrie webpage was also recently in the paper!! They seem to be gearing to giving the drivers a bit more regognition when it comes to publicity here at the tail end of the year!! Andrew is doing a great job with those features and trying to get some promotional events going to I believe!!! Hense the new VIP area that I'm hearing will cost a small fortune to sit in!!!LOL
