i'm a strong supporter of barrie speedway , but there is just some things that can't be tolerated anymore. first off dave doucette gets banned 2 weeks for mouthing off and pays a bounty. ok thats fine! then their is numerous ASSAULTS at the track some involving crew, some with drivers= nothing! #2 and #38 on track retalliation= nothing. how many times is a certain purestock going to run around on the track going after other drivers= nothing, other purestock drivers involved in i would say deliberate wrecks= nothing, a certain late model team given a 2 week suspension and not having to serve it and continues to hit everything in sight and doesn't even lose a position= nothing. on saturday rick walt was yelling at another driver and the race director involved himself in the discussion and the next thing you know ricks calling him names and the race director is calling him names back and threatening not to pass his car through tech the next week. now rick has received a $100 fine for verbally abusing an official, and the unprofessional "OFFICIAL"= nothing.i'm just giving examples and i'm not picking on any one driver and i'm sure they all had their reasons for doing what they did, but my point is i would like a list of who is untouchable and who has to look the other way when pooped on. i know i'll be on the latter list now, but who cares something has to be done! i will be the first to donate $10 towards his bogus fine. thats a whole lot of nothing going on here!

OK now I've read just about every thing on here! LOL
With the inconsistant rulings and some of the other hogwash it makes it really easy to lash out at another driver when your having a bad night. Really, the problem lays with the track. The reason things are out of hand is because they have let it get to that point. It is very sad because Barrie is a great place to race. Time to move on and travel and see what else is out there in the area. We had a blast at Sunset, even though dad cut a tire down. This week it's Sauble and next week, who knows. Just dad is happier then a pig in shit being away from the antic and politics of the once loved track BSW. Wouldn't hurt to race elsewhere for a week Jim, just to get away for a week!
