If you were to sweep all 18 races you could cover the cost of the car and then you need about $15K from sponsors to cover fuel, tires, oil changes and entrance fees. Now that would be great as long as nothing else breaks, no one runs into or you don't crash yourself!

Any hobby costs money. The moose we got last week probably cost $100 a pound LOL. All depends on when your personal cost / benefit (loss) ratio hits the wall.

I never said it was profitable lol. Just comparing new sunset chassis to a LLM. If you have a metric right now you could put a new frame and cage under it for $3000 , $12000 for a whole new car With plastic body. Most guys are asking $8000 or so for used cars. A good used LLM is at least $20000.
