Is anyone building any of these cars? If so let us know so we can get a car count. thanks
yes me and my friend are planning on building one for this year. its in process.
When I operated Sunset Speedway in 1975, we wrote the rules for a new division at that time called (street stock) this was a car with a proper roll cage in it, drivers suit and head gear. The car was gutted of all material that could burn, and all glass except the windshield.) At first we had only 10 cars, the next week we had 20, and so it went on. We registered 80 street stocks into the pits one night, and on and invitational when we paid $4,000. We had 140 car registered.. So what can I say. you are on the right track!! Keep up the good work !!!
I don't know where the $100 back gate charge comes from, unless you are referring to registration charge, but the only way anyone keeps the car is if claimed according to rules.
He's referring to Brighton's scam they are putting on in the summer. Not Barrie.
