Just thought I would clear up some things...

I recently discovered this forum and was surprised to see some topics discussing me. So, in response to a couple issues brought up I thought I'd throw my two cents into the mix. Firstly, yes the car was 200 pounds underweight and for the person who sarcastically said "I am pretty sure to remove 200 lbs from a Nissan you just about have to cut off the front clip." Who says we didn't basically have to remove the whole front clip over the course of a season and a half? The amount of accidents it has been in in the 3 years it's been out, a LOT of damaged material has been removed from the front a rear of the car and replaced with much lighter tubing. I admit that ignorance to the car being underweight is not an excuse and the problem was quickly remedied.

Secondly, about the moving up a class topic, I admit the car does have great potential as seen when it was in the hands of my dad and so this suggestion is a fair one. But I don't think I needed to be moved up in the middle of my rookie year as I still have a lot to learn. I would probably do more harm than good in the A division as they are much quicker than I am (I think I have only run a 17.7 as my fastest lap) and as quick as those guys are I think I would be under more pressure than in the Charger division where it's a little more laid back. I just think that the Charger division is for guys or girls who are just trying to get the hang of racing and can compete against other people of similar skill levels. It's never been about winning, any wins I got were mostly track position and some luck and a car that has been tuned for the track over 3+ years. And it is all for none anyhow because I am not returning next year as I have to focus on school and getting my life straightened out (plus I got no money). I'll be back eventually, I got the racing bug...

But all that aside I had a great season and the Charger division was frickin amazing, couldn't find a more friendly, helpful bunch of people around. Good luck everyone and see you all September 1st, it'll be my last race night as I am moving back to school so if you see me in your mirror, help a brother out, haha.

Hey Mike you don't have to justify yourself to anyone, you did well this season. And if you're not coming back next year you'll be missed but you have to do what you have to do and your education is the most important thing for you right now... Come back for a visit some time will ya...

Hey Mike, sorry to hear you won't be with us next year. Good luck with school, hope you do well, and can't wait to see you when you return... You are a really down to earth guy, and not a bad little driver.
