I can see the logic from their point of view as to why they did this (especially if the overflow pit area really is flooded like they say), BUT...

If I was a driver:  I'd be preparing all week, have the family and friends out, then get kicked in the nads and get told "you're too low on the totem pole, you're out buddy". That really isn't very fair.

If I was an attending fan:  I'd be paying a hefty price, showing up in the early afternoon, only to find out half the show is missing.  That simply isn't fair either.

They should just rain-date the thing and do a whole show then.

BTW, the Orillia paper says the show starts at 4:00pm so they can't even get their marketing right!  That'd be a piss-off too, showing up two hours late.
