It's True, It's true, it all started with the constant complaining you reap what you sew, all you guys do is complain about everything why should the owners respect their home track divisions when you don't respect them, now its Management pay back and like they say pay backs a b$$$$h or is it paybacks at Sunset lol.
I think that some people don't necessarily appreciate that the NEW management at Barrie do have a tough job of keeping everyone happy while still trying to make it a decent investment on their end. Yes, this doesn't always translate into a fair deal for everyone, example food prices, but they are not racers and thus don't have quite the understanding the previous owners had. No one is going to buy up a track to make everyone happy at the expense of losing money, not smart people anyhow. But tracks go through rocky periods and as long as the track survives to race another day it can't be all that bad. Barrie is at least moving forward, with the NASCAR deal and new owners who have money to pump into the place (hopefully), unlike some more unfortunate tracks like our home town North Bay Speedway, which is just a crumbling ruin now. So, I would just give it some time and don't blame the owners for the weather, I trust they knew what they were doing when they called the local guys' racing as it was lost profits and they knew it wouldn't be accepted lightly. I would rather spend my time not digging my car out of a foot of water, and if thats what we would have been hauling 2.5 hours (not to mention gas) down to barrie to do, then I'm glad they called it. But no more rain please :).
Oh, and Barrie isn't so bad to their drivers' and crews', I remember having to visit the pond in the middle of the pits with a bucket at the NB Speedway to top up the rad. There was even a small dock so you could get the good water near the center of the pond, I think we should count our blessings for the love of racing. So, if we race tomorrow would it be the normal schedule? As in starts at 7, etc.? I hope they tell us whats going on soon, I'm dying over here, I haven't raced in 2 weeks, thats my limit.
My understanding is that we wont be racing untill next saturday,unless someone knows different??
