Hey, this isn't Desi, it's her mom. I was there and I don't know who started the rumour about Desi crying but she wasn't. Protesting is obviously allowed in the rules and if a driver has concerns about legality, one can protest to address these concerns. It is to maintain a level playing field, but everyone know that anyways.
Congratulations to Billy on winning the championship! 🙂
I wasn't there and I don't know Desi or Billy but I think if you protest and you are wrong you should be penalized. Just like in hockey if the other team says the player has and illegal stick and he is found not to the other team gets a penalty. It should be this way in racing as well as it seems the sore loser try this.
To say you are going to wreck someone so you could be the champion? What is that all about. You should not be racing if you are think this is the way to win the championship.
Getting your Mom to come on here and stick up for you just shows what type of person you are. If you lose and start crying the other guy is faster and get his car torn down to see if you can find something so you can get the points. You need to find another sport.
People might respect you more if you just accepted you lost and congratulate him and move on and maybe next year try again.

Oh ya forgot there was 2. Maybe he should of protested back but he said he wouldnt. See how nice of a kid he is. And to put him through all this bull is just a load off bull itself. I lost a lot of respect for her after sayin she was gunna wreck a good friend. Hmmmm erica good talking to you again last night. See you at the banquet maybe before
evan at most tracks the money you put up for a protest goes to the car being protested if they are found to be legal.
