Saturday night...we are getting inserted where possible in the program...

Well isn't that cute, lets sqeeze in the Championship races where possible. I hope that is not what they do. Reschedule the invitational and let the regular drivers have a decent championship nite without being hurried and pushed through.... things will be tense enough without that......I think our drivers at least deserve that, given all the rainouts this season.....

THE INVITATIONAL IS SUNDAY!!!!!!!!!!READ THE SCHEDULE

READ THIS!!!  😛

1. SATURDAY, SEPT 20 - PM - FIRST EIGHT QUALIFYING POSITIONS WILL BE DETERMINED
(26 TOTAL FOR FEATURE)
1. Time trials for all cars in attendance - two laps
2. Total # heats determined by number of cars - approximately 10-12 cars per heat. One heat only per group of cars.
3. Car position of heats - 1st heat - fastest car - pole position, all odd number cars in order of time trials
- 2nd heat - 2nd fastest car - pole position, all even number cars
- and so on, if more than 24 cars - (wouldd increase cars/heat if slightly more than 24 cars total) - depending on car count, increase heats and # of cars per heat - 10-12 cars
4. Top eight cars (total) from all heats qualify for Sunday's 1st feature race (ie - if two heats, top four cars from each heat, etc)
5. If the Saturday car count requires more than two heats, as an example - for three heats, we wud qualify top three cars in each heat, nine cars total , etc

they will move the qualifying to sunday, run all heats, then run the features. i'm sure they won't screw us. they could get rid of the oss though, wouldn't hurt my feelings! the website will be updated by friday, so we will all know by then.(YA RIGHT)

That'd be a good idea because Sunset is also running their End of the Year Championship feature for TC on Saturday :-

I don't see how this is such a hardship for 4-cylinder drivers in particular since they have talked about a Sunday show since mid-point in the year (never have used the option however) and on many occasions I as a Thunder Car driver would have had to work on the Sunday date.

If you have work obligations then that is unfortunate, but it is what it is. Be thankful that they are trying to get the Season Championship races in for your division and not calling it as it is, which could have been done. I didn't expect the Championship races to happen at all, and the LLM guys won't be getting their 18 races, I believe they are at 16 races for the Whelen points... not anyone's fault... Just the horrible weather this year.

I (like you) really don't care when the OSS is coming, they could come Friday night... I don't think we will be getting our assigned pit pads as we are being directed to Gate 2... which is annoying. I get annoyed anytime BSW regulars get trumped by some visiting series.
