Hopefully with the changes discussed today, all thunder cars have an equal chance.Everyone can have a tin kit, same motor mounts, and no more lead penalty for a new gen with a built motor. The only real difference should be the body style each driver chooses to run.
makes sense if they want more new gens dont penalize them. Now the old gens can move their weight around too, with the first and second place going to old gens the last few years this should even things up 😮
I have one question. If you think that the thunders are on equal grounds then what do you do with the cars that have built motors and just drive away from the field. How can a crate motor keep up, we all know that they can't so what then. I think its great to have all cars under one rule, but for the teams that can't build a new race motor it will still be the same. As a fan of racing I hate to see the same cars winning all the time, every driver should be given a chance to win, not just the cars with big money motors.
The guys that are running away are going to because of the stuff they have now cause of the stuff they have. Moving the firewall isnt going to make them that much faster or slower. In all my opinion is its a good rule other than if I had a camaro ::)
not enough people where running the crate anyways and racing is always like that, the bigger budgets get better motors
