Thanks for the tip on the 400 Transmission car, I wasnt sure but knew if I guessed Impala, Monte, or Lumina I had a 33.3 percent chance of being right ::)..
And STATSMAN you bring up a good point about the two red cars, I dont think we can count Inglis or Quesnelle outta the chase just yet either. Al sits 21 behind Keith, and Ron is just 25 back.. Both have been hot the last month too...Al in particular with two wins and a 3rd in his last 3 feature races. Man is the Inglis car really hookin up in turns 1&2 as that's were he did most if not all his passing in the 50 lapper.
Its great we could have 5 cars so close in points at mid season, when the top 3 of Keith, Shepherd & Baker are also factored in there..Should be a great chase to keep an eye on over the next couple months..Could even come down the last night like it did in 2006 with 4 drivers (Walters, Tim Watson, Baker, and Gaunt ) all with a chance to win the points on the last night.. Man would that be awesome...
We wanted to race at Barrie on Saturday if we could start both mini stock features . We called the speedway office a dozen times over 3 days and sent 2 emails and even called the track direct until 1 pm Saturday but could never get a responce from anyone . I guess Barrie has all the cars they need because they showed no interest in having us come out .
UGGGGHH.. I dont like hearin that Trevor.. New cars no matter the division more cars and especially new faces are always a good thing.. When I gave you that contact info I'd assume they would at least responded!! Thats awful..But like I had told you that you wouldnt of been allowed to run both features anyways cause it was considered a "make up" feature...Even this week, if hypothetically a new Thunder Car were to come to the track they cant run the first feature cause they didnt qualify July 11th (the night the lights out) That came up this past week actually in the 4 bangers and that was the ruling...
Dave, you know Gary likes to have fun, it's nice to know we are missed, just not a lot of interest this year with Shawn taking the year off. We will however be there of course for the Davenport Subaru nite..... Hope to see you then.....
