Ok since DODGEGUY 14 asked for it, here is the 20 min rundown. Sorry for the lateness but was beat after working all night long. LLM feature won by #10 Gord Shepherd, who came from 6th on the grid to relieve pole sitter #18 Kyle Baker of the lead with an inside pass in 3 just shy of lap 10. #48 Dwayne Baker would finish 2nd after getting past son Kyle at the midway point of the race. Rookie contender Baker would have his 2nd podium of the year finishing 3rd, being the only rookie to accomplish that task thus far. Point leader McLeod finished 4th, with Jongen 5th. McLeod, would borrow the car of #50 Larry Woodward after mechanical troubles sometime during the first heat (which he won) in the Look Company Dodge. Other heats to Shepherd, Jongen, and #8 Dave Lewis. Pretty solid race again, only one caution and McLeod didnt miss a beat in the Woodward car. The story of the night in the Rama Mocassin& Smoke Thunder Cars was #84 Jerry Slavish. Slavish, would win the 2nd 25 lap feature in fine style, getting the jump on #22 Jason Elliott from the drop of the green and not looking back. Elliott, also recorded a career best 2nd, with Leonard Johnston also putting a solid run together to finish 3rd. #92 Dan Dixon and #12 Jim Belesky would round out the top 5. The first 25 went caution free and was won by #2 Tremblay. I think Eddie might of gotten alot closer to both Frank and Darryl in the standings, and 2 points nights left so things still could change before the year is out. Slavish would have a stellar 2nd place, after not having a top 10 this season, let alone 2 top 5s in the same night. Hes gotten noticeably quicker in recent weeks so kudos to him. #24 Leonard Johnston would come home 3rd in this segment as well, with #3 Ken Denhollander, and #15 Donny Brandon rounding out the fast five. As good as the LLM feature was, this was the best race of the night. Great job to all the Thunders tonight in what was undoubtably a hard night for some with the broken axles. Heats to #22 Jason Elliott, #44 Dave Doucette, #15 Donny Brandon, and #9 Chris Burrage. Pure Stocks was one awesome race, and was won by our own #97 Thayne Hallyburton who had a great late race battle with #2 Ben Melenhorst for at least the last four or five laps side by side. Thayne would edge Ben by maybe a couple feet at the line. Kudos to you gentlemen as well, as that was some really competitive clean racing, which is what we all wanna see. 3rd was Meyer I think but again I gapped writing down the top 5 for this one. Heats went to Hallyburton and Meyer. Only 11 cars though, but I think we all know why that is!!!LOL Chargers it was #15 Mike Burtoo taking his 3rd feature win and 2nd in a row. #68 Drew Stieler came 2nd, with #2 Billy Melenhorst, #66 Chris Free, and #21 Desi Walt rounding out the top 5. Heats to #49 Mike Woodward, #90 Jim McDonald, and Melenhorst with two. Really close points battle in this division with Billy and Desi now just 10 or so points apart. Neither has won a feature either, so thats quite interesting. There you have it..... FROM THE CHEAP SEATS
