Gee it looks like double features at Barrie are going to help out with NASCAR points, but it also looks like we have some competition for a Provincial Champion with Delaware Speedway.  I assume since their premier division is LM and not LLM we may not see many or any drivers try to race both tracks?  Does anyone know if a driver races a different division at each track, can they still collect points as if they were a single car team for the NASCAR Whelen series?

I dont think u will see many barrie guys bother..or any really..

we will have 34+ races and the best 18 will be counted so they will have many chances to improve, the last night or two nights you may get someone desperate who will make the trek south.

Agreed W_M! When I first read the release I knew it was written by an American thinking guys would be able to run Delaware on Friday and Barrie on Saturday on a consistant basis. Could be done I guess but a lot of driving and gas burning there. Kinda like getting asked if you know John when you are in Florida and say you are a Canadian LOL  ;D

I should also add, so I don't get accused of insulting an entire nation, that I know Americans that drive that far for a daily commute. They seem to have a different sense of distance than most Canadians do. There is an old saying that an American treats 100 miles as if its one.

Possibly some story lines there!

I just don't know how many Barrie cars could get light enough to take advantage of that weight penalty!
