poacher I 100% agree...these cops on power trips are rediculous, they know nothing about the sport and have 0 respect for the drivers and wVnder why we dont want them there...they are there because of the stadium seating so stay the FUKKKKK in the stadium seating are!
i have a theory on this years b.s at the track. back in the day stockcar racing was a mans sport(no offence to the women, you will see what i mean). no wussies or candy asses! before the fuzz and security were around watching every move you make, there used to be an element of respect. people knew who they were racing against and you also knew the temperment of your fellow competitor. if you decided to drive like a bonehead or wreck someone or take somebody out, you used to have to deal with that person when you got out of the car. if that meant a roll in the dirt, so be it! now these morons know that in order for someone to straighten things out, you can't go to their pit without getting banned, if you pop someone you get charged by the cops. this has brought the faux "tough guy" out in alot of weasles who hide behind these stupid rules. they rely on being saved by the powers to be, when if it was the other way i'm sure there would be alot more thought put into their actions. in my opinion ,if you got the balls to be a tough guy behind the wheel of a 3300lb automobile, you better have the same jam when you get out! go back to the MANLY way of doing things and i GUARANTEE the shit will stop!
+1 for the prince...
Cops are cops, they are always looking for stuff to write tickets about, or hassle someone about. IMHO they spend most of their time in the pits, not even in the stadium.
We have more cops hanging around the Speedway than they do at Jane and Finch.
It really isn't necessary in my opinion. People who want to act like idiots used to have to deal with the consequences if they did. Now they do, and run to the staff or police, and don't get what they probably deserved. So they do it again.
Harrassing people who are having fun makes sure that people don't come back. I'm not paying $20 to be harrased by the police about walking around with a Pepsi for an hour. I like Pepsi and I buy the big bottles so I don't run out. I don't generally drink liquor at the track. People who were being responsible and not causing any problems are now being harrased.
That stadium license was the worst idea ever.
;D "in the olden days" damn jim you make yourself soud old lol. how ever i do agree to a certin extent with you. we dont need the fuzz or the renta cops but if some one your size (not pokin fun i just happen to be a very small guy) came after someone like myself in the heat of the moment i sure would like to have some kinda back up!! ionly have 1 crewmen and he is only 13 so that aint much help. would i drive you different than a guy my size, in the old days damn right now, damn i dont know. i try to keep my bonehead moves to a minimum, respect the drivers i run against and just have fun but.................
there are others who dont get it

Yaaaaarrrr......Now we are talkin' I have had my share of run ins this year with a couple of the "throw sand in your eye and run to the principal weasels" coincedently they appear to be involved in some if not most of the crap happening at 2 tracks....fun stuff. I don't want to spend a night in the can for smackin the puss outa some douche bag in the pits but sometimes it needs to come to that, we don't need people runnin to hide behind their grandma's skirt, making up stories for the officials, or the police to come in and have a little circle jerk excercise at our expense.
