i may be incorrect but i'm just saying how it looks too me. that kind of stuff might just backfire. i know people who drive from further south to drive right by sunset to go to barrie. on the other hand i know people from the far north who go right on by barrie speedway to hit sunset. people have their preferences but not necessarily despise the other.
Bottom line is weither its Barrie Speedway or Sunset speedway they both r a business and both try to make the best product available they can and have to advertise. Where that is its up to the people holding the money. May the better track win. I am say saying which place is better i have my choice between the 2. If i had my pick my top 2 track are Delware and Kawartha.
if you drive on the 401 going east do you not see highway signs for mosport raceway and kawartha downs , they seem to still exist . who cares where a billboard or sign was put up . the racing is most inportant part . i haven't raced all year and i still see that the politics haven't changed . i think what barrie has tried ( no fees & higher payout) is excellent at least they're not sitting on there hands doing nothing they're - PROMOTING , and on the other hand yes sunset has more cars & fans but are the racers really happy ? from what i hear alot hasn't changed from the tech dept from years past . do the fans really like seeing the same drivers win every week?
what would you guys do if you lived in michigan if you had all those tracks to choose from in such a close area ?

From what i've heard , sunset has had 7 different feature winners in what 11 races so far this year in the late model division and i cant recall if kyle donaldson has won 1 or maybe not even that in the last 4 races of the super stocks. Dave doucette sure did a great driving job winning last weeks feature with i think it was bentley all over him. I do think they have a dilema in the 4 cyls as the 03,51 and 10 all seem to run away from the others. The racing in the late model and super stocks has been fenominal this year, keeps you at the point of cant wait for next weeks racing,week in and week out.And as far as the teching i take mark dilley at his word when he says they are trying their damnest to get things right.
