Not Kahnefreak but his mom

I cannot believe the way the track has been run this year.  When will people start believing it's all about the sport of racing,  NOT MONEY!!  The new owners don't give a rat's ass about the drivers and all the time and money they spend on their cars, let alone time missed with their families.  Saturday nights used to be a family night but not anymore.  It's gotten too expensive this year. Without these drivers there would be no show.
The wide open drinking in the stands is ridiculous.  We all managed without it for years and enjoyed ourselves.  I did not enjoy taking my grandson a few weeks ago.  We had people drinking and climbing over us all night and not to mention the odour of beer.  It smelt like a bar.
This no carry policy is crap.  If I want to bring a Timmies coffee,  I WILL!!
Maybe they could've limited the cooler sizes instead.
These new owners have taken mine and my families fun out of racing!!Maybe our family sport next year will be bowling, cheaper and more fun

On the Barrie Speedway website, where it talks about Nascar memberships, it says that those who do not have a nascar license will pay between $22-35 depending on the event. So this means that it cannot go beyond that amount. If you go to the ticket link it says the pitt pass for a non member is $45. This is $10 more then last year and $10 more than what they originally said non members would have to pay depending on the night. Kids 12 and under are having to pay $20 at the gate... I thought this year they were free???

So they say we can use our armbands from last week....i guess it doesn't matter as I have a nascar membership and pay $19 a night no mater what is going on. What I want to know is at the track they said the bands for non members would still be good for this weeks racing...Does this mean they are going to charge more on top of the bands for non members? if so that is ridiculous!

In regards to the tailgate party comment, here's what I can confirm.  I did take food with me to the track at Cayuga to eat.  I did not try and take it in with me inside the track so I don't know if they would have stopped me.  I did take in a drink which security did not stop me from bringing in it was an energy drink.  However in previous years I was able to bring in a small cooler bag which we brought drinks and some food.  I agree we should support the track in buying their food, however I should be able to bring in some food and a couple of drinks.  Its not like the track whichever one it is isn't getting my money anyway.  So I will again be bringing a cooler to keep in my car and a lawn chair so if they do stop the food from coming in I'll just go back during the other events besides the NCTS stuff.  Pull out my lawn chair and sandwiches and see what friends I can make.  It is similar to the tailgating that goes on at NASCAR events in the states just not the same size cause there are some serious tailgate party's prior to NASCAR events.
