To lenny, chris, and tex.  Ya the Sunset tire is shot after 5 weeks, but have you ever run YOUR tires at Sunset for 5 or 6 weeks to see how long they last?  Nope.

I have run sunset on goodyears (2000-2001)  diamondbacks ( 2003-2007)  towel citys ( 2008 )  and now hoosier.  Sunset wears tires, always has.  Barrie tires last longer becouse the track has been repaved twice since it reopend in 1999.

I ran at Bristol, Barrie, Sunset, Sauble, Peterboro, and Flamboro (frost fest) last year tex so ya i guess i am the "expert".  And ive never see lenny at Sunset ever in my life, so untill then, he cant do any math, and he can keep his crayons to himfelf. Â

I apologized to you sir, and yeah I know some stuff about tires... My cars are #5 (as crew chief) and #1 at BSW (as just crew nobody). We took the feature 1st night of the season at Sunset, you might remember?

Charlie let's end it all right here. I'm wrong, you're wrong it's done.

Dont tell me about how great your tires are till youve raced more then one place  more then one night in your life!

Charlie7-why are you wasting so much of your time posting on a forum for a track you dont even race at? Every time you do you just keep making yourself look worse.

Dont know about this reference of a 350 with a SL1 being the hot ticket down south but if its being held togther with JB weld it does not make you good or smart, it makes you lucky.

I must say I am very impressed with all your racing experience. You sure showed everyone didnt you! Now that your an expert are you going to work for Goodyear or Hoosier? Of course if your third in points you are likely getting offers from all the top Sprint Cup teams?? ;D

Ah yes it's raining so now starts the debate on which track is better.... both tracks have there good points and bad points.... lets face it no track is perfect. However given that, and the fact that this season is shaping up to be like last season with all the rain, Barrie, Sunset, Varney, Sauble, any track, they all need to start thinking of ways to make up races for their drivers.

Prior to the season starting we registered at Barrie when Sunset was still under Wes Goodes ( MIGHT LEARN HOW TO SPELL GOOD)reign of terror .  After Goode went bust (ONCE AGAIN YOU ARE WRONG! TRY GETTING THE RIGHT INFORMATION BEFORE YOU SHOOT OFF YOUR MOUTH)and the new owners of Sunset came in with Dilley managing we went to the drivers meeting Mark held at the track and he won us over like several other Barrie cars . I like a top driver running the track and the perspective he brings in making decisions . Sunsets pre determind  ( sunday) rain out make up dates are a great idea but there is only so much any promotor can do . With all Sunsets improvements so far this year and many more to come it would seem to be a track on the rise while Barrie's ownership laissez faire management style seems to have it on a decline .WHY BAD MOUTH BARRIE, JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT THERE, IF YOU GET BOOTED FROM SUNSET YHAN WHAT?)

+1 Monette!!!
I remember charlie being all over like a fart in the wind at barrie and peterboro. If you're so fast charlie, make the trek back to barrie and show the guys some of your expertise!

Also i give barrie credit, because we ran all that racing july 18th, and i was home (after staying til the end) by 11:15 with almost an hour drive.
