I have never ran on the Sunset tires but if they only last four or five nights how does it make them a better tire? It costs more and falls off quicker from what has been said. The Barrie tire last longer and is cheaper I'm still running on tires from last year I have only bought two tires this year I have tires that I ran at Sunset last year and they still hold on so in my opinon the Barrie tire is better. Now if anyone has a set of Sunset tires I will gladly run them at a practice at Sunset to see ;D ;D
Just want to thank the owners of Barrie Speedway for calling the races early. It was nice being able to plan to do something else for the evening, not having to waste gas money towing then having to drive back in a torential downpour.
I also like the idea of every track having the same thunder tires. Paying $140 for a 5 week tire sounds great. ??? Oh wait....I am paying $98 a tire right now. Even free admission every night wouldnt offset the tire expense. Yes I did the math for you Charlie. I can lend you a calculator if you want to check....or crayons......your choice.
Well Dave, I would consider it but I really don't need to drive the extra distance to embarrass myself, I can do that easily at Barrie! Acutally I do have a reception to attend for a friend who got married earlier in the year on the 2nd. Talk to Hometown, he should be up for the trip. Have fun!
If you run barrie tires, your trapped at one track, unless its an invitational. Yes I would rather run barrie tires, but there is more then just cheap tires to look at.
Ya Stoyan if you want your $100 bucks come get it anytime, but im not to sure about the gas money your talking about? ( oh yeah and I guess a 350 with a sl1 cam is the hot ticket for down south, cause mine finnished the race! ) JB WELD motor is 3rd in points at Sunset, just thought you should know.
