After watching the racing and we won't say which track, in the Pure stock 4cyl division it was apparent that rough driving was taking place once again. It is my understanding that in the drivers meeting the officials were going to blackfag any rough driving. This of course once again did not happen. Word has it that according to the officials there was no rough driving taking place. As a specator in the stands how can they say that, I saw it and so did many other fans around me. The blackflag should have been waved on serveral occasions,officials say they saw everything, but obviously they were looking somewhere else, or just plain refuse once again to do what they say they would. Again someone could have been seriouly hurt, but fortunetly they were not. Again the officials have let the drivers down, by not doing as they say they will. If they tell the drivers they will not tolerate the rough driving then they should stick to it. Don't let these drivers think that something will be done and do nothing. Because the officials did not do as they said they would once again we will now lose a good driver who races clean and fair and just wants to have fun. Once again the black cloud of disappointment hangs over the track. But that is just my opinion.
yea, I am of the opinion that the track can always change their mind...i THINK they should keep their word, btu they can do as they please...its a dictatorship, not a democracy unfortunately.
There was one black flag given last night in the four cylinder main.............
The black flag was for delibertly causing the caution and had nothing to do with rough driving.
Yorkie maybe you are the black cloud.. do you want no contact racing at a short track??The pure stocks had a great race and there was a black flag as Amanda said but i guess you where in your black cloud and you didnt see it. Short track racing will have contact if you take it out racing will suck. The track did not have to use it much as it was a relatively clean race. If you want non contact racing then you need to look into 4fun you cannot hit cause there is no cage, but if you want real short track racing its going to happen! >:(
