Yep and who is not saying that racer ate Kraft Dinner for 2 weeks so he could repair his car, get out there and support his track.
When it comes down to it everybody is hurting for money. I run a business and I don't see as much left on the table at the end of the day either. When that happens I don't have money left over for racing but I guess that is what they invented Kraft Dinner for.
To think that you put everything you have into your car and all you expect is a $5 trophy that is not much to ask.

Having literally raced for grocery money myself once this year, I know where we are all coming from. I also know that when you can only scrounge up the money for a box of kraft dinner, you aren't to concerned about buying the ketchup to put on it.
Could the tracks be in the same boat as some of the racers? The baquet might have been the kraft diiner type, but for the same reason as ours. Should we really complain about the lack of ketchup (trophy)?
Maybe I worry to much.
well where the hell does the $50 a head go to? and don't say its the meal because it wasn't worth $2. the hall might cost $350(just a guess) Somebody made money here!!!! I think i might look for a new trophy supplier if all the money went there. considering the thunder trophies were about the same size as a feature trophy....ask frank he'll tell ya! the people who went to the banquet paid for it, i'll bet the owners didn't have a dime invested.

If you plan a wedding or a large gathering the money goes quickly. If you were expecting 100 guests at your wedding you should be budgeting $5,000 for the meal, hall and entertainment. Thats 50/head...
A low end catered meal starts at 23/plate..
i bet that goes down when the catering company is owned by an owner....
