No the 00 runs a howard race motor. And the 2 ran a crate all year so I was told, we talk to his car owner at the track.
[/quote. That's what im getting at (so you were told) there is no way for sure to know who is running what maybe they run two motors too!you never know.
thats true you never know for sure, how ever I was in both pits and seen under the hood. the 00 did have a Howard motor and when I seen under the 2 it had the tags on it. now with the 2 when I looked it was early in the season so I can't say for sure if they changed the motor or not. But he did get faster near the end and did set the track record now was that with a crate or built???.
Or a crate with the seales broke? I know you can break the seal and put it back together and know one knows the difference. How many times did the tech department check your seals last year? (and im not saying you broke your seals)
I had no one look at my motor at all. I was all so told that you can break a seal and put it back together. I wouldn't even think of doing that its really not worth cheating to win.
i don't know much about those crate motors or any motors really but i heard someone saying something like you can turn those crate motors upside down and knock out some frost plug or some plug or cover off or out and pull the cam out of them or something like that without it being detected.
is this somewhere near right? maybe it's not a frost plug but is this just a racing urban myth or what?
anybody know?
