And Spencer that is true, overhead is key, but i would guarantee that they made a nice chunk of change off of each NCATS race...lets not dispute that.

I would also like to point out that imo we ahve a lot more stands than Sunset has so, we may infact ahve more ppl than it may apear...and the last two weekends ahve been packed and toorrow will be 8500 plus...at 40 bux a pop.

there's no disputing that NCATS will generate revenue

but you can't simply say there was X number of people there, and they all paid Y number of dollars, multiply the two and this is how much we made

that is not even remotely close to gauging a business' productivity

You have to look at what ages are the fans cause it costs different amounts of money! You have to look at how much they pay the workers and anything else of that nature! then you subtract all the costs from what was actually brought in and voila!

you also have to factor in how much money is dolled out to the NCATS to bring them through the gates

yes and that could be very costly! When it all boils down to it, I don't think the track will make anymore then they do on a normal night of racing! but it's great promotion to get people to come out to the track and get interested in our home series as they all race on the same day! Maybe that's why they have changed it from being a Sunday race last year to a Saturday race this year! It just sucks that there are going to be no home series heat races, cause then maybe my dad might have been able to pick up a checkered!
