hey guys I wonder if they will move the 49 up to the A division now. He is not in the points hunt cause he started the season late and now he has won 3 straight features although one was a DQ for being underweight. Point is we were told if somebody starts running like that they would be bumped up and it's the perfect time for them to prove what they said earlier because he is not in the points it shouldn't really matter if he goes up! what do you think guys?

They will probably give it a couple more weeks and watch....but i dont think it will be long....

I think that it wouldn't be fair to move anyone up right now. Having said that, if the same car wins every week, I don't think that is what they want either. He's got 3 in a row, I don't think he will get too many more without getting moved up. Someone will say something.

I think this would be the perfect time to move someone like the #49 up . It would show everyone that they will actually do it and since Woodward is not in the points race there wont be any crying that the track screwed him out of a championship like If they move Monette or Crumbie up .

They will have a certain number of guys that move up to thunder car/ llm etc from the A division and a few that pack it in so its important keep moving guys up .

My take is that I think those 3 in a row are more attributed to starting position above anything else!! Woodward was running 18.1s and 2s most of the night and would have trouble keeping up to the pack in the A division at that pace!! While that car did do well in father Larry's hands in 04 (3rd in points that year) young Mike is still a true rookie so I think its highly unlikely he ges moved up until after the season!! Will be interesting to see how he does this week starting from even further back in the pack!!!!
