Just in case anyone missed it on the Barrie website :
"Today's scheduled practice has been cancelled due to threatening weather. It has been re-scheduled for Wednesday, May 13th from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m."
All the debut action will have to wait til then. At least all the cars will stay shiny a few days longer. Kudos to management for making the call early and posting it on what looks like it will be a miserable day for outdoor activities.

It would have been nice to practice Sunday... Wednesday is out, i'm working.
Well it is unfortunate that practice was rained out this morning, but I'm also glad the owners made the call so early so drivers, teams, and employees wouldnt go out there and then have to turn around and come home again..( Look for that to be a trend this year on days as sketchy as this).. Now 4 hours of practice on Wed night is all well and good, but not really alot for 3 divisions though.. What I would like to see is have the track open at 10 am or so next Sat. (even if its just for single car practice till the ambulance shows up later in the afternoon).. To me this would allow for more track time especially for those needing it in new divisions, or having new cars to shake down.. Maybe it will happen maybe it wont, but it does appear the owners have learned some lessons from last year and will continue to do so and that is never bad news in my books...
