Ok 20 min rundown time.. And much like I said to my girlfriend last night " Its gonna be a quickie" ;D Better weather brought a nice crowd out tonight and KOH show was also well attended and one of the better shows of that nature with lots of Mitsubishi's taking part on Barrie Mitsubishi night..

Ok onto the racing where the 1st LLM 30 lapper was won by #8 Dave Lewis, for his 3rd feature win of the season. Lewis, took the lead following an early restart, powering to the front on the outside around #5 Steve Quesnelle. This move led the way for the duo of #69 Al Inglis and #10 Gord Shepherd to also power past Quesnelle while running the outer groove.. The trio of Lewis, Inglis, and Shepherd would chase each other to the checkered running in nose to tail fashion, with Inglis briefly looking to make his signature low move out of 2 on Lewis on lap 26. But the "Red Rocket" was unable to muster up the power to complete the pass, on the always stout Lewis ride.. Shepherd would finish a respectable 3rd, as #6 Keith Maiato came home a solid 4th, with #57 Ron Quesnelle rounding out the list of top 5 finishers.

In the 2nd 30, it was Ron Quesnelle taking the win from the outside pole position, after clearing #22 Rob Inglis on the opening lap.. Quesnelle, would open up half straightway lead with laps in the 14.9 sec. range, before the duo of Inglis and Shepherd cleared pole sitter Rob Inglis.. Best battle over the late stages was between Lewis and Maiato for 4th, great clean racing between those two.. At the checkered it was Quesnelle taking a division leading 9th feature win of the season.. Shepherd would hold off a very game Al Inglis over the closing stages to finish 2nd, with Lewis and Maiato the top 5.

Did a nice tribute to Garry "The Gambler" Reynolds and he raced his old car in the 2nd LLM feature.. I really enjoyed being the man on the mic to run down Garry's list of accomplishments over the years and hope I did do a good job with it and paid the man with well over 100 feature wins at BSW a fitting tribute..

In Thunder Car action it was CRO's own Chris Burrage taking the feature win, completing his first ever hat trick, after a pair of earlier heat wins.. Second feature win of the season for Burrage, who joined "The Prince" on the list of multiple feature winners in 2010 Thunder Car action..#12 Jim "Polish Prince" Belesky also captured a pair of heat wins and came home the runner up in the 30 lap main.. Awesome racing over the latter half of this one between Burrage, Belesky, and #3 Ken DenHollander, who went onto finish 3rd.. Belesky and DenHollander exchanged the 2nd place position on sucessive laps, with both passes taking place between 1&2 ironically enough.. #14 "Hurricane" Thayne Hallyburton finished 4th in what looked to be a bit of an off night for the Hillsdale Service Center/Lo Jack Securequip Monte Carlo SS..#99 Rick Walt would continue a recent string of impressive finishes with a 5th place result. Congrats on the hat trick Chris.. That race with you , Polish, and Kenny was worth the price of admission alone, despite the slow start with 3 early cautions before lap 15.. Bit of a war of attrition tonight for sure which is pretty unusual for the Thunders at BSW this season..

In the Pure Stock division it was a pair of relative newcomers in 2010 making up the front row as #09 Dean Curry got the jump on #14 Billy Melenhorst from the drop of the green.. Curry held the lead right till the end of this one despite a couple knocks from the 39 of Travis Hallyburton who was desperate to find an opening, eventually finishing 2nd.. 2009 track champ #26 Ben Melenhorst put on an impressive charge from the 18th starting position to finish 3rd, with #91 Kyle Lethbridge and point leader #15 Will Davies rounding out the top 5 in the sleek looking Orillia Kitchens Neon.. Curry was later DQ'd in tech for too much camber passing along the win to Hallyburton.. Tough to see that happen to a nice guy and true barnstormer such as Dean, but rules are rules and he was a fair bit out with his camber settings apparently..

Four different heat winners once again coming in the form of Hallyburton, Davies, #88 John Mitchell, and #76 Ian Burney..

First ever win for the 76 of Burney who has been seeing double duty for most weekends this season running Fri evenings at Kawartha.. Car looked quite a bit faster as well, as I had him clocked in the 17.2 range in the heats.. Couldnt happen to a nicer guy than Ian either, as evidenced by the # of drivers giving him the thumbs in victory lane.. WAY TO GO IAN!!! Chalk one up for the booming metropolis of Woodville!!! 😉

There you have it.... FROM THE CHEAP SEATS.. will add more stellar commentary later tomorrow but for now its work for me!!
You know the insignia....... suckas  😉

Both Dean and Mike Smith are top drawer guys, willing to talk about their cars and not BS...

I watched that race and Dean held it together under severe pressure from the #39, too bad about getting doinked in tech.

Nice night of racing. It was good to see Gary Reynolds out running the 17 latemodel last night. I must take my hat off to Jim for not taking me out when he got to the inside of me going down the front stretch, he had every right to dump me as I was CLEARLY blocking him. I wanted that win bad last night my car seemed to be working well and just couldn't let it get away from me, I knew if Jim pushed me high I was probably going to end up 3rd with Kenny in striking distance as well. So to you Jim THANKS ALOT you are a true sportsman and it has being a pleasure racing with you this year.
