It is entertaining reading some of the comments as of late for BSW, but I'm curious to know how many people have filled out the sheets in the tech shed about their issues with all of these grumblings? Or better yet, e-mailed the track so that they have written proof or documentation. So far this season I have had realy good luck going that route. Even when I do not get the responce I was hoping for, I atleast get an explanation for the desision they have come to. We all know that things are not 100% as of yet, but we have to agree that communication has gotten better since the winter meetings. Over the years I've been the guy that's been pretty vocal, and in most cases out of line, this season I'm trying a different approach and it seems to work a little better. If you feel that you or your team where wronged or put in undo harms way Saturday night, drop them( the track ) an e-mail, just maybe at the time they didn't see it that way, and need some input from others. One of my guys was over the wall helping the 12 car, and after our Monday night get together , if he feels something should be said, as a team we will go forward from there. Lots of pit road insadents go unnoticed because the officials are trying to clen up the racing surface and line the cars back up so that the crowd of fans that we all enjoy racing in front of, gets back to seeing, in my mind, the best damn thunder car show in Canada!! So maybe try those couple of routes, BEFORE slamming the track. I don't see a whole group of folks lining up and offering to put on those uniforms ./ Just my thoughts from the cheap seats.
by the way meathead, steve was not hurt but his car was and so was mine. the biggest injury was to my personality, reputation and i definately felt like an ass. i apologized privately and publicly and told everyone how sorry i was and learned a big lesson that day and i will never do that again. Not only to steve, but darryl and the whole crew, also barrie speedway and the drivers in the whole division. i deserved everything i got and more. I believe steve and darryl forgave my idiocy and i wouldn't be able to live with myself had anything bad happened to him. this was another case where the flagman should have addressed the situation therefore i would not have had my pin fall out.(not an excuse) If you haven't noticed , not that your opinion matters but i've changed my ways and realized the danger of it all, some guys haven't, thats why we need observant officials to recognize these situations before they balloon. regardless no incident on the track is worth hurting anyone and i'm glad steve was o.k! as for you dildo , quit hiding behind your hellothere and be a man. bringing up this incident is a low class thing to do.they don't even compare. i get along with the st.onge gang and if i have a problem with darryl, i speak with him about it. i even offered my car at the end of the year so he could win the championship.people don't realize how close he was to hitting timmy and the #44 gang ,trying to fix my tire. so i have every right to say my piece. i'm glad you have never done anything stupid in your life other than add your brainless comments on this forum. i had to edit this because if they saw what i really called you , they would have pulled the post.Until you've strapped yourself in a car and experience the ups and downs of competition, you really have nothing to add!
i can tell by this post how much you have changed, how you dont lose your temper.
Anyways chill out if you did make good of it after thats great its just what I saw happen and thats why I CAN add it,it happened I just stated a fact.
Taj had a great post send the info to the track and let them know what you saw. Maybe it will get addressed.
I simply dont want to see anyone on the track get hurt, you guys put on a great show and everyone should be able to come back the next week and do the same....
I know Darryl St.Onge very well, he would never intentionally endanger anyones life. Saturday night he pushed up and got into the 44 car on the restart it was a mistake, he thought Doucette and him were getting along this year. That same lap in idiotic fashion Doucette drove wide open no brakes into Darryl the same thing as last year. But what no one knows is Darryl got home this Saturday night @ 11:30 and then had his wife drive him to emerg complaining of a sore neck and back. I talked to him sunday he spent the day on couch with an ice pack some fathers day. He is not very happy, someone did get hurt this week, 44 got two weeks he should be banned. Sooner or later he will hurt someone bad, he cannot control his temper, the only comment St.onge said to me was THIS IS A HOBBY we all have families and jobs this is supposed to be fun.
