Now if you missed the memo next gens were allowed back, ask Mr.Tremblay as his car was there for the Frosty. Because next gens weren't welcome at the one Thursday night race they have been banned forever? Your theory confuses me. Also just a side note, anytime either one of the St. Onge's won at Sunset they Started Pole. Weren't even fast qualifier just lucked out on the draw.
Now we can play the game going back the other direction as well, do we all remember opening night at Barrie in 2006, when Poole dominated the field there by half a track. Was then not given the trophy.....just the payout. Now heres the funny fact, Poole wanted to register there and possibly compete for points but was declined in that option instead went on to win the title at Sunset that year.
Now we can play this back and forth game all day long or we can say if Dave runs Sunset or Varney or Sauble or Mosport or Flamboro and wins then he was just that fast, and its racing tell me a time when people didn't whine when someone won doesn't matter the track or the division.
if dave went to sunset it would take about 2 weeks and they would kick him out because he would be way too fast, hes just as fast as the 00 and they kicked him out so they could win. Unless they put him in late model he would only be a midpack car
i really reeeeally dont want to get into it with you...
but we did not "kick" Darryl out. the drivers elected to not allow new generation thunder cars to run. we were nothing but courteous to Darryl when he came down, why not just ask him instead of making ridiculous statements on the internet?
what are posts like these supposed to be doing for the relationship between the two tracks?
spencer call it what you like but if Darryl went down there and finished 10th i bet new gens would not be a problem.
But i think steve went there and beat everybody including poole a few years ago then Darryl went and won then banned. Im not trying to start anything between the two tracks im glad that we are getting along. I stated facts i really do believe if Dave goes there he would clean your field no problem. Then as you put it your drivers would "elect" hes too fast and he couldnt run. If you feel different thats ok i am just stating what i think 🙂
for arguments sake, i actually think dave would stack up nicely with mark adams, rob skyler and herb walters...
he'd definetely have success, and more than likely a couple wins, but it definetely wouldnt be a non-entertaining runaway
If a track holds a invitational, they go by home track rules. If the rules for the class are in outer space ( like barrie's) the track has the right to not let some one run. If I ran at sunset with no load bolts, non adjustable sway bars, a rochester 2 bbl, and actual stock, non modified front suspension, steering and shocks, and a barrie challenger ( thats what you might as well call them) showed up, id want them on the trailer too! What about when sunset had no weight rule and they used to show up weighing 2500 pounds? Almost everywhere they went they had to put weight in. Was that fair? Mind you, take a close look at your t-car feature winner from sunset this sat. thats closer to a late model than barries are!
if anyone knows about putting time and effort into a speedway ,it's taj and all the poor bugger gets is abuse. i appreciate it "t". i know this is showing up in the middle of another topic, but i'm replying to the fact that the track workers are appreciated. sorry carry on!

Same thing as to what Jamie Horner's thunder from last year, now the #27 at barrie.
