What are 6 and 9 yr olds doing in the pits? I thought the age was at minimum 14? Not to be rude, but if 6 and 9 yr olds are in the pits, unfortuneately that's not Daves fault if they saw that. When you go in the pits, everyone knows what can happen there and sometimes it doesn't stop at yelling..Unless you are talking about when Dave yelled at the owner from the infield right after the incident, and the children were in the stands on the grandstands side. But that would be crazy if they heard because I was behind the cement slab with his team and coudn't really hear him over the thunder cars :-

You know I like watching Doucette drive, he has some really good moves out there to get through traffic. Given that too deliberatly ram St.Onge the way he did and pull the donuts in the in field the way he did, was totally unprofessionally of a race car driver. I honestly thought he had more charactor than that. I was very disappointed to see that kind of behaviour from one of our drivers, and no less our track champion. Dave, love to watch you drive, and you do it well, but you represent BSW so please remember that the next time you get on the track, think twice before you retalliate, there are other ways to deal with incidents... thanks
Yorkie - I am glad you posted what you did. See I have thought alot about the reaction of the drivers and how they have been acting the past few weeks and taking matters into their own hands.
My question is, as you mentioned Dave is a really really good driver, and was even champion last year. If he feels that the only way to react, is by the way he did because no has listened when input has been given in an appropriate manner then how are these drivers left to feel they should react?
If it takes a former champ to act that way and then get suspended for some words he said? Maybe rather than the officials getting pissed with him, they should realize that they themselves need to change something. I know for a fact more than one person has not been impressed with their calls or what not.
If drivers are acting this way then their tactic on how to run the track should be re-accessed. I am not by any means trying to bash the crap out of them. I appreciate what they do as business men because I certainly haven't owned a track myself.
But rather than thinking people are being complainers or what not, they should see it from another business point, they aren't satisfying thier customers and if business's don't satisfy or listen to their customers, the customers will leave.
More people will spread the word about bad experiences sometimes more than good.
It's a shame drivers are feeling they need to react this way to be heard, especially great drivers like Dave. And that is what needs to be looked at as well.
