Hey Big(CryBaby)Dog44 maybe you should open your ears a little better or get your eyes checked and read further up where it was stated only heads were to come off to check cc bore and stroke, didn't both of you say your motors were already built and in the cars before you knew about having to put the inspection plug into the oil pan? I am taking this on good authority that that is what you said in tech that night. Now all of a sudden you have that inspection plug is in the oil pan. So which one is it-- do you or don't you???? seriously Pinecrest you seem to have some knowledge so can you tell me how the crate motor program works for a LLM. I am buying a late model with a crate that has 1 season on it. Does that mean that it has to be rebuilt or can they be rebuilt and by who or do you trade it in and get another one. Also what come with the motor, heads ,intakes or what ?

I am not really the guy you want to ask about a crate . Other then I know where you can get one for $ 3200 and that they wont take being spun at much more the 6000 rpm and they don't really make much power up past that . You might want to look at the crate engine thread since it looks like you can now buy the bolts so you can open them up and reseal them .
